Advantage on p13-20 is exempt from 1st round on qualifying.
this is announced info and itā€™s all we can say.
Iā€™m not sure if they come or not.
I know our schedule is a little hard to participate for whom in busy.
so we cannot invte p13-20 players to the qualifying on that day.
only we can say is that ā€œIf you come, weā€™ll give you an advantageā€.

By the way, qualifying entry is now on.
TKD(El Fuerte), Bon-chan(Sagat) and some more named players
had made application.
best 4 players on qualifying should be skilled enough to match with

How exactly will the tournament be setup? Single elim best of 1 game? Do the top 12 confirmed players get seeded to semiā€™s or is it a 12-man tournament? How many people can compete and is the qualifier open for everybody? How many qualifier spots are there in the end not counting the 12 confirmed? It seems like the 13-20p thing is like a first round bye pretty much.

*It does NOT mean p13-20 players will take part in the qualification.

I think I get it. So hereā€™s how it goes.

Qualifications:
Everybody not in p1-p20 plays. Players p13-p20 play the 2nd round of quals as their voting gives them a first round bye. Top 4 winners of quals make it into actual tournament comprised of 16 players.

Tournament:
16 Players with double elimination format. The entire tournament is best of 3 games until winners and losers finals which are gamechariot style, best of 3 games. Grand finals are gamestop tournament style and still best of 3 games. I like it. The tournament layout you have is mighty pleasing on the eyes. Way different looking than the US tournament maker layout.

Hope the event goes well.

Kinda weird how tournament payouts in Japan are so small. Is tournament winnings even legal? 50,000 yen = $525

Anyways, I already have a ticket for the Godsgarden event. I didnā€™t get any email because my friend in Japan helped me get it.

So, question. Do I still have to register for the tournament via the website? And if so, do I check
1: Qualification only
or
1.2: Already reserved my ticket?
