As for this movie, I’ll wait for a full trailer to cast full judgment. I would’ve preferred the '90s cartoon Extreme Ghostbusters spin on the franchise. At least that that would feel like a real evolution.

I don’t like to judge a movie before I see a trailer for it, but the cast immediately makes me think that this movie is gonna be an all-woman Three Stooges with ghosts and cheesy lady jokes like “Does this suit make my butt look fat?”

I’m definitely going to reserve judgment until it comes out, and I didn’t know there was a comic book series that this may be based on (seems like EVERY Hollywood movie has to be based on a fucking comic book these days) so who knows.
I was watching Ghostbusters 2 last night, and while it’s not as good as the first movie, it’s still pretty damn good. I guess for me the biggest thing is who’s going to write the script. I can totally see this becoming a generic 21st century comedy, but I hope whoever’s writing the script doesn’t go that route.
The comic book is actually based on and continues the storyline of the 1st two movies and the PS3/360 2009 game…which was basically the 3rd movie!!
at this point I would have any actresses that I know over these fat bitches. Id like to know how a bunch of fat asses ever could catch ghost before they catch a heart attack. Or try even running from a ghost, before getting a stroke.

The 09 game is pretty good and the main character got added to canon storyline and is running the Chicago franchise.
The game even has an online multiplayer where you can play as the OG crew sans Jeanie.
