Ghostbusters II Part 2 - The Sequel

Judd Apatow says that haters of this movie must be Trump supporters

That’s quite the incendiary comment.

Judd Apatow hasn’t made a successful movie in a while.

I think he can go sit down and hush somewhere.

You can tell there is a clear agenda in the way they are attacking people who have dislike for the movie.

Define successful.

Pretty much all of his TV shows are successes still and his movies do well.

You guys know the drill, these entitled children from the regressive left don’t have the mental or emotional maturity to handle any dissenting opinion with any degree of class so in their salty butthurtness their only defense is to lash out at anyone who doesn’t praise them with the classic ad hominems, remember it’s much easier to demonize and dismiss a person than it is to actually engage and consider logical criticism. Like I said Sony and co spent millions not just on the film, but the studio they built specifically for the IP and all other resources I’m not even aware of so they feel financially they’re almost forced to double and in Appatow’s case triple down rather than admit concede to any degree that they fucked up.

Also Appatow called these 4 women the funniest people on earth, so yeah dat credibility lol.

So why did James Rolfe get so much shit for simply saying he is not interested in watching the reboot, but when Comicbookgirl who said the same thing and even straight up tells her viewers to not see it back in March no one said shit to her?

Because she’s a girl with a short haircut that’s multicolored that means love and glasses so it’s perfectly ok.

Now if she had long brown hair and cleavage then we’d have a serious, serious problem on our hands.

If you’re a man and say you don’t like a movie that stars all women you are automatically a racist bigot xenophobic mysogonist but if a girl says the same thing it’s OK. So long as she has a trendy haircut. That’s social justice.

Now if James was gay that’d be a different story of course his opinions would then be deemed perfectly fine.

Social justice is all about double standards and hypocrisy and women’s supremacy. Scarlet Witch and Black Widow are more powerful than all the male superheroes and it’s wrong that Bucky and Cap aren’t gay for each other. If you disagree you are a mosogynist homophobe.

Nah. I know two female movie critics and both said they weren’t going to watch the movie based off the trailer and were slammed for it.

Well that was their mistake for not cutting their hair short and using multicolored dye. For shame…

It was weird, tbh. I’ve never seen such hate for a remake. If anything, Creed should’ve gotten this shit because it was pretty much the first Rocky but claimed it was a different film.

I know it’s so weird that a horrible trailer with cringe worthy humor of a beloved franchise would be so poorly recieved. I just don’t get it.

Creed trailers made it very clear what kind of movie it would be from the beginning and whatever criticism, if any existed was not met with venomous reprisal from the filmmakers.

Creed also has the benefit of being a good movie with a great cast, so you know…

The difference is that creed didn’t look absolutely aweful. The hate for remakes has always been pretty strong too hence why the popular “ruined your childhood” was created years ago. The thing with this ghostbusters reboot is that it’s happening at a time when people have had enough of botched remakes and reboots. It doesn’t help either that any man who doesn’t the movie is essentially being called a woman abuser and hater.

I think the idea of an all female Ghostbusters is really cool and could really work.

The only problem is the trailer was, you know, fucking terrible.

Tmnt 2 only pulling in 35 mill tells you people are sick of shitty cash in reboots that add no value.

Creed did receive some criticism for making the main character the illegitimate son of a beloved one and by doing so perpetuating stereotypes of black men’s propensity for infidelity.

Yeah, and Michael B. Jordan didn’t call those people “hatin’ ass Trump supporters”…

Kind of a big difference there.

If you took a hangover shit in today’s society someone would criticize it for being too black and thus racist. Or if you took a normal shit it would be racist for not being black enough. Or if it had corn in it that offends Native Americans.

People want new stuff. Look at Hunger Games, look at the new film by Seth Rogan the adult animation, that’s going to do enormous box office.

The problem with reboots is you’re never going to please fans of the originals. You have that going against you. Then you have terrible writing that’s clearly pushing an agenda and that’s it. Forget it. Done.

For something like an all-new Ghostbusters to work you’re going to have to succeed and deliver on every level. Nobody wants to be hit over the head with some agenda with a comedy they want to laugh and be entertained. This is literally Ghost Busters: Social Justice Slimer is Trans. And I think once this movie tanks we can finally stick a fork in this whole SJW thing once and for all and realize it’s a small group of antisocial totalitarian weirdos and be embarrassed for anyone who got endoctrinated like Razor.

Last couple Hunger Games did not do well at the box office. Just a low rent version of Battle Royale as id

Well maybe not everything needs to be a franchise. That too.

Especially when they force it. Taken 4: Rescue the Dog.
