No.
I don’t want any Ghostbusters without Harold Ramis… This franchise had its time. Let it rest.

If by “made perfection” you mean stole another bands song then yea sure. He made perfection.
He already wrote the damn thing before he died
They were ready to proceed without Bill Murray before the whole thing got derailed. It would be unfortunate but it would be fine if they went with the original idea of having younger Ghostbusters mentored by the remaining surviving cast.
Having peter die and be one of the hunted ghost? The feels
Movie wise i agree… what about animated versions? (not including the train wreck of this new reboot…)
(still wants to hear if Hecatom subjected himself to Gods of Egypt because he’s sadistic like that)
I still don’t understand why SONY didn’t just go with Extreme Ghostbusters’s cast if they wanted to go “progressive” given how actually progressive that cast was (and, sadly, still is). I mean, it’s not like it has the Hollywood “curse” of being devoid of white people and thus implicitly unmarketable; there’s two white people on that team still and one of them comes with the bonus of being in a wheelchair while the other has the hair dying thing down that “young girls” love nowadays.
Sigh. The world really is run by idiots.
Still, if the latest trailer is indicative of the “quality” an Extreme Ghostbusters movie would have been subjected to under SONY, then I’m extremely fucking glad they’re not touching it.
I couldn’t watch it on theaters, i am currently wating for the BD release to watch it. I heard mixed opinions about it.
(Awww…)
Well, that’s a shame. I must admit that I too am morbidly curious about how bad it is supposedly was, sort of like Immortals, which I completely forgot existed.
That said, much like this movie, there’s literally no way other than threat of death (of someone else) that I would have ever paid actually money to see it in theaters.

This reminded me why the had to put “Real”.
[/quote]Curiously enough, this cartoon was based on a live-action series from 1975.
Slightly OT, but did anyone play the 2009 GB game which had all 4 OG actors?
Was it good? Some people online said that it feels like it could be an honorary “GB3”.
It pretty much is GB 3. Fairly solid game.
I just watched those videos @toddler316 posted and if all that is true, it makes me incredibly sad as someone for whom the first Ghostbusters movie is, along with Fight Club, my favorite movie of all time. This is what happens when executives who should keep their asses and opinions in the office think THEY’RE the stars and that they know better than the actual artists, writers, and actors.
If all that’s true, this isn’t a movie, it’s a piece of commerce with a political agenda using the Ghostbusters universe as a backdrop. Hollywood has been turning out legendary levels of dreck for probably the better part of the last 15-20 years, which is why I rarely go to see movies, and why I’ve always ignored a lot of them, but as a huge fan of the franchise and the original cast, it makes me sad that people like Amy Pascal and Paul Feig don’t care that they’re taking the intellectual property and legacy of people like Ivan Reitman, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, etc, wiping their ass with it, and throwing it out there to hopefully make a quick buck. But I guess that’s 21st century Hollywood.
I’m planning on seeing the movie when it comes out, and I’ll certainly give it a chance; I’ll try to go in with an open mind and enjoy it without taking all the things I now know about it into account. I’ll probably wind up torrenting it though. I don’t like the idea of supporting not just the potential bastardization of something I really love, but the utter hubris of the $ony brass, and poor treatment of the people who CREATED the franchise in the first place with my money. I don’t even care that it’s not the original cast, I’d just like to see another GOOD Ghostbusters movie. But it seems from what I’ve heard and seen, that’s sadly not going to be the case.
It was a standard, competent third person shooter. It won’t blow your mind with its gameplay but there’s nothing that stands out as really bad either. Fun game and packed with fan service. I’d recommend playing it.
One of my favorite games from last gen, the gameplay is really solid and the story is basically GB3.
It is a great of piece of fan service if you are a GB fan.
Cosigned!!
If Sony was smart and wanted to cash in on the buzz, they would’ve released an HD remastered version and fix the bugs in the multiplayer, which was also fun as hell well!!
The newer international trailer…more Hensworth.
that trailer is 1000x better
Yeah I hate to admit it, but that trailer wasnt too terrible I still laughed at the selfie joke.
