I like it. It’s pretty fair thus far. I have found when I panic sometimes and mash it works but other times I get killed by other guys. I have enjoyed some of the stealthy moments so far too.
How’s the stealth? I’ve read in places that it can be pretty OP at times.
I find the stealth to be brain dead easy. The enemy AI is retarded In this department. I’m going full shinobi build and some of its skills make stealth even easier like the chain assassinations.
About the combat tip in a video I posted earlier this week.
Minor Spoilers-XP tip
The observe and then kill leaders for double stance XP method is legit!!
I am half done with the Spear-user-counter stance!
Always follow foxes and golden birds. They will lead you to good shit.
Fuckin’ co-signed on that!!
I finally found a spot where I can upgrade my gear. I’m mad that I need to complete a specific quest in order for the armor shop to be useable.
Who wants a combat montage!?

Ghost of Tsushima - Cinematic Combat Montage (Gamespot)"
Seeing high-level play is thing of beauty!!
Just picked it up, disc is installing now. Can’t wait to jump in this evening!
I wish I had an HDR monitor. The lighting on this game especially at dusk is fucking beautiful.
Installing now…halfway mark…
Do installs go faster if you’re online? I know I’m at max capacity on memory though…
This game is fucking RAD. I barely scratched the surface, got into the first Tales mission and got familiar with the different systems and whatnot. Yeah, I see myself really enjoying this one. There’s a lot of depth to the upgrades it seems, but not overwhelmingly so. And combat is pretty cool so far. I think this is going to be a fun ride.
Fun tip:
Immaculate Warrior dye + Samurai Clan armor = Feudal samurai style Storm Shadow!!
Now if you want to get the all-white look…

Bruh…the Call of Duty hitmarker effect did me in!!
I’m still in chapter one. Lady Masako is an awesome old lady. The most interesting character of the main cast I’ve encountered so far.
I’ve been roaming around a bit doing some of the smaller stories before progressing Jin’s Tale, after I completed the first couple. I’m trying to open up the map a bit and just take everything in… and it’s fucking awesome how jam packed the island feels, full of little secrets and encounters that keep opening more and more little side quests.
After getting more familiar with the skill trees, there are some things from both the Samurai and Ghost trees that I’m going to need to unlock, but I can’t decide what to go after first. I wanted to focus on a stealth build, but there are some bad ass skills to unlock in the Samurai tree that I can’t ignore, but I have to work up to them (like being able to terrorize enemies after a perfect parry I figured that would have been part of Ghost’s tree, but it’s one of the last ones in Samurai.)
I fought my first duel last night. Holy shit. I hope there are a lot more of these. Definitely my favorite encounter type. The gameplay is at its highest during a duel. So fucking fun.
Anyone know where a sword smith is located? I need to upgrade my katana, but I haven’t been able to find one yet.
You’ll find sword smiths in major towns and temples. Any spot on your map that has four small houses on it is where you’ll likely find one.
Huh, I’ve looked at a few but they seem to be abandoned right now, or sparsely populated after being ravaged by the Mongols. Wonder if I need to progress the story a little more. Still haven’t rescued Yuna’s brother or started Lady Masako’s tale yet. And I’ve only done 1 of 9 of the Ishikiwa’s Tale. Haven’t visited Golden Temple yet, either, though.
