I used to play Chipp back in Slash. He’s fun. You just gotta nail moving around with him. I picked Chipp over Millia in Slash for a speed type/rushdown character. The other members where like::wtf:
I play both as well as Anji, Dizzy, and Ky. The last three are real scrubby though. I’m also starting to like Testament now, guess I’m a hypocrite now lol.
I played around with Millia this weekend. Damn she’s fun to play and I don’t have much trouble learning her character specific combos either. EX P colors FTW. Too bad I suck at mixup with her though. I like her playstyle. I guess I got a thing for characters with good mixup games.
The only Milla player around where I play hasn’t played in a while. I guess after being beaten by two Jam players and being unable to handle Sol’s pressure plus the fact that he didn’t learn Millia’s combos for Jam realy shook him up. Hopefully that guy has been training.
I HATE fighting Sol/Order-Sol with Millia, I can handle it with Chipp though. Rekka shenanigans all day son.
Yes, first thing I learned with Chipp was Rekkas for pokes. Beats alot of stuff, until Sol starts to Grand viper on reaction or VV it.

I hate fighting Dizzy. But that’s my fault. I keep playing characters that have problems with people who zone. I’ll see if I can find a vid of a REALLY good Dizzy player for you. When I saw that match, I was damn shocked. I never knew Dizzy had power like that. Finding that vid is gonna take a while. Boondocks just started.

That was a good Dizzy. I remember seeing someone named Makoto spaz the fuck out with Dizzy, shit was crazy. My Anji suffers from the same problem as my Order-Sol (I forgot to mention him earlier). I all around plat better with them, but I can’t do combos anymore. With Anji, I forgot how to air combo all together, ji or without ji. For OS, I just can’t do his level 3 rock-it ji combo anymore.:sad:
I haven’t been brushing up on my JI combos with OS. I’m just not used to it yet. I can’t fight Anji at all. I swear if I get into a fight with a good Anji, I’ll be destroyed…
My Venom and I-no sucks though. And apparently so does my Sol.
I would just get good with one character in this game.

Yeah, I think I might put Sol on hold or something. I mean he’s the reason I got into GG but what kind of rushdown character has slow ass overheads? I like I-no’s offensive game. She’s a it harder to get in with but I don’t care. There’s just something about doing ground to air to ground to air combos that I enjoy.
I’m thinking of replacing Sol with Johnny. OS is my tourney character, him being my main. Everybody else is casual until I decide who’s gonna be my secondary…
Damn Sol vs May is tough. Lol @ one guy who played Sol who was a scrub. He got pwned by May’s dolphins. Saddess display of Sol I’ve ever seen.
I liked Johnny in Slash, but AC just felt too different to me, plus he got shit on.
