When the guard meter is high enough, it starts flashing. When it’s flashing, hits automatically become counter-hits. And the counter-hits could affect the combo.
I have a black friend who plays Chipp and wants to learn Sol. No lie.
I’m black and I started with Testy, I do play a little bit of Sol and Chipp, but I hate the damage Chipp takes, and Sol can’t seem to do anything flashy like Testy.
After a whole day of ^Core, I’ve tryed Pot and Eddie (mainly because of their tier positions)
Pot: I haven’t gotten down the punishment factor yet, but I’m gettin there.
Eddie: Eddie was actually the 1st char I played, and I hated him. I find him a little confusing right now, but I’m a beginner with him.
I just learned Pot for the heck of it, but I need some Eddie work.
I play Eddie like a grade school student and just spam drills, but he turns out to be equally as good as my Testy.
I just wanna know the basic do’s and don’ts of Eddie.
And who are the top Eddie players in US/Japan. For vid purposes (seriously, filmzee00 selection is huge)

My black friend plays Ky and Jam and I was thinking of using Millia a while ago because she’s almost as fast as Chipp.
We talked about this in the old GG thread though. I think I said something along the lines of “Chipp and Sol=black people, Eddie and Testy=asian people, Obscure characters or women=white and asian people.”
I’m black and the first person I played was Ky, and, the second was Jam.

I’m South Korean and I feel the same way about Slayer; random ass shit that nets your 40-50% damage. Also, his overall gameplan is very 3S/Ken-ish, which I can immediately identify and play with.

Nothing wrong with tier whoring if you like the character you’re playing too. If the character you love just happens to be top tier, then that’s a double bonus for you.
