Maybe Evo East if I can get some $ saved up. FRXI is a def. no. Hopefully my Milli will do better this time. Tourneys just make me go retarted and do random ass shit.
Eh, Slayer is pretty simple and straightforward. He hits you into heaven 4 times and wins.
I’m slowly learning Zappa because I want to main him. The reason I say slowly is because Zappa is all types of crazy. I don’t see many matchvids with him though, sadly.
Also, that Sol player is crazy.
slayer > this thread.
Tell that to the Testament players.:bluu:
I like Testament because he has one of the best oki in the game. IMO, that’s everything he should need. Ok, and he can have badlands loop too. At least his pokes are trash. Right?
Right…
testament eddie and pot all can give slayer a really hard time. if he hits anyone twice they die though.
He was my main for a few weeks after I got the game, which isn’t really a real main >.<
Besides, I like Pot better.
NNNNOOOOOOOOO!!! Play Buri! Buri is moar fun!
Buri is fun if you like working really hard, playing perfectly, and losing anyways.
Slayer takes effort/skill to beat good players who know the matchup.
But he beasts scrubs for free!
hint hint
dat Millia is whats up
I find it funny when people say stick to one character then mention Kaqn…
What he said.
Got this in the mail today.
Plan on learning Testament first, then branching off to learn the other top tier characters.
Koogy: The guide links (the ones posted on SRK, at least) don’t work anymore. Is there a way they can be re-posted?
O.o I find Zappa vids all the time. He gets plenty of play. Not as much as the high tiers of course.
Truth.
I’ll keep playing zoombie with a keyblade.
kthx.
the truth. although i finally switched my main to potemkin. as much as i like buri’s playstyle i just have the most fun with potemkin. fun being winning + HPB
its all about dat robot for me…robo-ky is just too pimptacular…high defense, wierd hitbox, potemkin weight…he’s fairly strong, has the fastest 5D in the game…oh yeah…he has a cape too
Also,
I really don’t think that’s so much the case anymore, at least in comparison to Slash. Slash Slayer you could learn in five minutes. They made some changes in Slayer’s strings, added the link - timing component, and actually gave him COMBOS which, of course Slayer has to change depending on the weight of the character being comboed. You really do need to have solid timing in tournament play to play him, otherwise you can forget about getting damage through your 2k 2h BBU whatever string. He’s not as hard as Eddie, but he’s definitely not the easiest to pick up. Winning with Slayer looks easy because he hits someone twice and they die, but AC Slayer works for it a lot more than Slash Slayer ever did.
