in GGXX, what do you need to do in order to automatically fill your tension gauge?? In a game, i see your tension meter just refill but itself. Why is that?? Is it because of the BURST gauge? And what is this BURST gauge??
the burst acts like a “combo breaker” to some extent…
to fill up your tension max, press burst+button (w/out having the person attacking you[or else it does the combobreak], and this “burst” must hit the opponent) to have it fill up…

Hey, I was wondering, how are the tournaments for GGXX (if any)? I’m looking to make up a list of rules for future tournaments and want to know the format and what bugs/glitches are banned.
i’ve heard of no glitches so far for ggxx
Interestingly, I ALWAYS own her with Baiken. Her jumping S pretty much takes out most of her anti-airs. Sometimes, I just do jumping S, it connects, P, P, DP+S (all in the air) for a 4-hit jump in combo. Usually connects on her, because she tries to anti-air with one of her ground normals, but the jumping S beats it. I usually get her cornered like this, and if I connect anything on the ground, combo into QCF+K, jump S,HS,DP+S for major dmg. If she does the flame super, I just faultless defense it and jump in again with jumping S.
Baiken seems to own her for me.
Did you already forget about the I-no glitch? That’s a fucked-up one, but it doesn’t really have an effect on game balance. There’s also the modified FC, but that’s also pretty fair. Jump Installs and Impossible Dusts are still in there as well.
SF players vs GGX players
People are good at what they play the most. So SF players will be good at SF and GG players will be good at GG. I my self play both GG and SF and find that the two games require different deciplines. Comparing the two is simply ridiculous.

Does anyone have GGX for PC? If so, does it run on Windows XP? I’ve tried everything, and it says “The window has changed. The game is ended” every single time.
Do something like HS slide to S+HS while holding back. The HS never comes out and you see an FD instead (sorta like those air FD tricks with Chipp). Weird.
I got a question, anyone ever changed the music for GGX, I can change the music for MvC2, haven’t tried CvS2, but I’ve started playing GGX, sad thing, I have no music on the cd my friend made me ( Srk member Void ), if anyone can help that would kick ass, all I need is the file name’s for the music, I assume the file’s are gonna be ADX format song files, but I just the names of them…anyways, I’ll keep checking this thread to see if anyone post’s, thanks

I always try to pimp www.gamegen.com , since it’s SO comprehensive, but it doesn’t really have a bajillion pics on it (of Guilty Gear, since it’s new. It has a bajillion for other games). More than most sites, though.
If you run a search for individual names (ie Zappa, I-No, etcetera) cross referenced with the words “gallery” “Midnight Carnival”, and “XX”, you should be able to come up with any stragglers. I’d throw you my small collection, but I can’t get my machine on right now. If I can any time soon I’ll hook you up, dog.
