Just some stuff i noticed, i think you ppp flip alot, i think you should use the kkk flip instead, or even backdash. Because its really easy for me to punish the ppp. I also noticed that you dont tech throws that often. Other than that, everything else is good.

You play a mean Vega Bhudda’s weapon. Very good reactions and great execution. Though it worked very well in our matches, my only criticism would be that you focus attack a little too much. It definitely has its advantages, but just remember that focus attacks can sometimes be more trouble than they’re worth and really get you into trouble. GGs.

lol thanks, but to be honest, because the focus attacks seemed to be working good against you i just kept abusing it. If it didnt then i wouldve stopped. But ggs though, we should play again sometime.

Fearthegobbler: Nice pokes man! Stopped alot of my offense and your throw game was definitely there. Felt like I couldn’t get much in, your liberal use of the claw did a pretty good job of keeping me out. The only thing I got you with really was corpse hop shenanigans here and there, Which can be stopped with grab if you suspect I’m going to do something on wake-up for the most part. The rest for me was just lucky guesses.

Yeah dude Vega’s definitely got one of the best throw games in SF4 so its totally worth developing. Your execution was pretty nice, good use of cosmic heel into ST. I’m still struggling with that, so I’m not gonna fuck with it in real matches until after its second nature. You used your focus attacks well, there were only a couple times it really got you into too much trouble. Just remember to be really careful when applying it to other match ups. With a little bit more throwing I think your vega could become a definite monster, as you already have the basics mastered. Something else you might want to work on is keeping pressure in the corner. Vega definitely has the capabilities of keeping someone pinned down, especially if your using your throws effectively. I like to use Jumping fierce when they try to jump out, and I’ve had some success with it. The mirror matches definitely have their purpose but it really all comes down to your match up knowledge. Because of vega’s gimps, you really have to play him damn near perfect at higher levels of play to get that win, and having a thorough match up knowledge is the only way to limit your mistakes. I’m not in anyway claiming I’ve reached that level of play, though. lol
Something that helped me a lot, which I’m sure you’ve done, was watching videos of jozhear, makoto, and reiketsu, then finding good people to crank out player matches with in order to apply the concepts to the match ups. I still have a long way to go, but I think that’s the ticket if you want to take your vega to the next level.
