Getting to the Jaguar sleep over: Adon Combo Thread (OP Updated: 05-05-10)

No no. All good. I haven’t gotten to many of the Ultra specific stuff yet, but this is good info.

For an ez hit confirmed combo on crouching characters, link into an EX RJ instead of just the regular one. I could hit sakura crouching with three low shorts into one.

Even though it uses ex meter… it beats wiffing a lk. RJ.

hell in corner you can do, Focus level 3, ex jaguar tooth, Ultra 2. You can actually do regular Jaguar tooth for some characteres but if you wat to be sure you’ll hit everyone and 10 points of more damage then do ex.

Has that SSF4 Mook been released yet?

I’m curious if Adon has any Normal combos, like Bison’s st.short x2 -> st.RH. I think that would help Adon deal damage when he’s in a position where RJ would whiff.

crlk crlk stlp st mp / crmp . is about his most damaging non special normal combo.

My bad my combo does 198 dmg. I was attacking a dummy with no life. But i did it again today for 198 dmg cl st lp st lp cr lk into lk dp

The standing lp whiffs after 3 c.lks

oh I did this combo against seth.

j.mk->EX AJK-> cr.lp->cr.lp->lk RJ

EX AJK only does 1 hit which lets you combo. I did this agianst T.Hawk once…

I thought Seth was hit twice, however, and was knocked down. If it hits once, you can also connect with the s.MK for more damage.

So I’ve been using:
j.:mk:, c.:lp:, c.:lp: xx :lk: rising jaguar
and
j.:mk:, c.:lp:, c.:lp:, c.:mp:

As my BnBs

You can get an extra c.:lk: in the first one as the cancel after the jabs if the opponent is standing and you can even use :hk: rising jaguar usually but, I use :lk: because it’ll hit all characters without whiffing and hits standing or crouching

Because I have to use the short cut for the c.:lp: xx :lk: rising jaguar (meaning holding downforward during the string) I use the 2nd combo for when I try to cross up and miss or cross up unintentionally and arent ready to be holding DF.

I almost ALWAYS go :lk: rising jaguar because I really don’t wanna whiff it. I dont like have suching dangerous combos but, whatever.

sc.:hp: xx :hk: rising jaguar is my punish for things like whiffed shoryukens when I have time to do something more than throw or just a plain :hk: rising jaguar

I’m pretty sure these have all been mentioned but, we’re pretty disorganized in this thread and his universal combos are lost among all of the character specific and only standing opponent ones so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to mention the ones I’ve been using.

Adon can do jump in to both ultras.
cross-up MK-U2 432 damage cross up has to be late
j.HP-U1 508 and j.HK-U1 518 have to hold back for it to hit.

Is there a point to the wallbounce on Adon’s super or is it just there for show?

Okay, so the kick version does 415 and basically puts them in the corner. I think this is a really great set up. lol

No one has really found a use for it yet

Thus far the only thing people have figured out is that if you do the super and hit the very last hit against a jumping opponent, you can tack on a RJ at the end. For practical applications, none have been found. My guess is that they may have originally intended to let you wall bounce juggle with it, but changed their mind for whatever reason.

s. lp, s. lp, far s. lp, cr. mk, l. jag knee (163 dmg)

the jag knee isn’t cancle-able because its the 2nd hit of the knee. I wouldn’t consider it a practical combo to use since its only worked on Ken and Ryu so far and I haven’t gotten it to connect a few others.
