btw one quick question, how do you do dash ultra 2, I mean, when is the right moment to began with inputing :f :f I tried it few time (about 30mins to be honest) and from P1 side ultra 2 comes out almost every time, but maybe 50% of them connect, you guys are surely more experienced with this combo, if you could give any hint, it will be great! From P2 side I am not so familiar with dash ultra 2 and about 50% it comes out, and only in 25% it connects.

If you have the execution to land that on a consistant basis, U2 should be your choice.

Well done clutching it out against overmostheads! I’ve played him a few times, and either he doesn’t know the Dee Jay matchup that well or I really disagree with how he interprets it.
In any case, the only thing I’m not sure about was those EX air slashers at the end of round 3. Feels like a waste of meter to me when a less risky strategy might have been to look for the EX sobat through Oni’s fireballs.
Dee Jay makes me sadder the more I find out stuff about him. -_-

Yeah, you are probably right about those EX-slashes. I think I was just panicking and tried to get one through his normal fireball. Dee Jay is the first character with projectiles for me so I’m not used to the fireball wars yet.
i don’t like dabe-ra at all.
he makes me want to start playing online so i could push him out of the 8th spot.

I think alot of damage us DJs take is us not commiting to downback in that match up…Anytime I’ve tried to anti air with anything but slide I always get hit.
If I know it’s a deejay or guile player I will use dhalsim mate. I am not good in this matchup with Oni
