I’ll be more active in updating this thread. In this section I’ll probably tell you what i’ve udpated and to look out for videos from tournaments to hit youtube.

Afrocole is at NECXI. When the videos come up if someone posts them in the thread so i can update the front that would be awesome.

My finals are coming up in two weeks so this week i’ll be doing a lot of studying. don’t expect a lot of updates. Just updates to the spoiler section.

I’ve updated the Cody, Honda, and Balrog spoilers. There are still more balrog matches to be put in the section but its something for now.

He’s good no doubt but i think his wins come from his opponents not knowing deejay’s flaws.
I only say this because some of his fights were really close and if his opponents knew his flaws they would have gotten the upper hand and won.

They definitely are. I’m @ a CT tournament right now. Landed a ex mgu dash ultra to clutch it. I’ll probably finish this thread tomorrow night.

Jcool I don’t take offense to what u said but I don’t know why you’d bother saying that when almost no one knows the match anyway and almost all ur vids are against clueless people in ranked. But trust me I play with really good players who now know the match and I hold my own. I really just wanted some vids up so people could see different setups/strats for dj. My vids show some nice block strings/throw setups, safe sobat and slide setups, good use of d. lk for approaching and jumping fireballs, ambiguous j. mk and d. lk setups that won’t get auto corrected by a reversal. Throw in a few walk ultras and just overall solid play against good competetion (except for the Dudley player lol) and u get some good vids. I’d actually like someone to help me get a couple more vids of up cause I’ve been doing some new things that I’d like u guys to see.

You don’t really need to big up your own videos, Verify. People can make up their own mind about them, no matter what Jcool says. I know I pretty much watch all the videos that get posted up here, since finding DJ players is so hard. Peace out!

personally I don’t believe any of my vids are the ideal way to play the char at all, I am just posting them to contribute to an otherwise dead thread/subforum. Even at the lowest level you should still be able to pick up some things just due to the different playstyles. That is why I’ve been experimenting with low forward meaties and alternating between maxout and dread for pressure (although the latter is unsafe)

no you do do some good shxt i wasn’t bashing you @ all. if your opponents know the match up they aren’t exploiting DeeJay’s weaknesses the way they should.

o yeah i’m on PSN what do you expect. There are sooo many ass players. When i find a good player if i win i made to many mistakes to post and if i lose i get raped for not knowing the match up that’s why they don’t get uploaded.

the people i play against know the matchup and you’ll see that wednesday when the videos are posted.

i did beat a high level player. i was thinking about erasing all of the other videos because i know they’re ass (me and my opponents)

I’m having a session in my state. i’m going to be playing exclusively deejay against some of the best players in my area. should be some good footage just for you =)

I’m will be working hard on DeeJay, he was my original ST main, and I like him a lot in SSF4, even if it means more work to get the win.
I will be doing testing videos with him as I’ve done with Guile, hopefully something useful will come out of it.
