I didn’t even know knee shot cl. lp, cl. lp, cr. lp, cr. mp xx EX Sobat was possible. cr. mp hitbox is just awesome. Loved the lk sobat read to go over the last hit of Ibuki’s spinning kicks. I also really like the use of lots of lower-damage combos ending in cr.mk early on, to steal the momentum and put Ibuki on the defensive. Very smart play.

lol I think thats the combo everybody attempts to do when they’re in the training room practicing Fadc’s and dash ultra…Didnt ever think I’d see it in a real match. That damage sucks 
Never attempted that combo. Wasted of meter. Some unorthodox stuff. Got away with too much.
I’m not a fan of FADCing in general with Dee Jay, but if you’re going to FADC off a jump-in, don’t put in two jabs before your cr. mp xx Sobat. And don’t waste ANOTHER bar to get EX MGU dash ultra at the end! Hasn’t this guy heard of damage scaling? Is he trying for a high score on arcade mode by getting all dem hits?
Poor damage indeed. (The actual ultra hardly takes damage when using this setup). Like mentioned before, ppl should save meter for EX Jackknife
combo @3:06 was good for show, but not very effective, that ultra 2 was same waste as doing EX mgu xx EX sobat in corner, it takes 2 special bars, and does less/equal damage as ex mgu xx mk upkicks

Wow, he did a mk upkicks everytime he got into that stepkick situation…does abel have a hard time punishing it?
Its probably just me, its been quite awhile since I last played the match up. I under(over? lol)estimated the recovery of that move. I think I should be able to punish that with at least a LP CoD, but I’m not 100% sure, gotta test it in training mode.
