these people are easily impressed. akimo didn’t do anything too crazy in this match. Balrog just couldn’t block. Need to see him against strong opponents.
I just want to say that Afii the London DJ player has a pretty good DJ. Everybody was like nah I don’t like his DJ, but I saw him on a stream today and he’s pretty good. Plus he looks like Aziz Ansari and that dude’s hilarious. Can’t wait to get my AE on, but I can’t play until tonight. I hate all of you.
yeah sucks that i can’t get in the lab with AE deejay yet 
but yeah i don’t have a problem at all with new people picking him up, whether or not they are good (and afii isn’t too shabby). It was hell having to figure out almost everything on your own (aside from a few things you can jack from akimo or this board), it will be nice to have a playerbase (i hope).
Another thing is i WANT people to start developing anti-deejay tech, the people i play developed it already and it’s good for you. It makes you avoid common habits with the char.

Overall i got 3rd place at this tourney, but i feel like i could have done better in all my matches.
Against Rufus you should use cr.fp more to stuff dive kicks. And DJ’s J.Fp losses to Rufus’s j.hk. I think J.hk and knee shots is the best air to air in that matchup. If you catch Rufus without meter you should exploit him.
Always slide under high tiger shots. It’s a good way to get closer without losing charge. I haven’t tested the new lk sobait against Sagat but in Super lk sobait could go through low TS. It might be easier now.I’ve noticed that something is different about Sagat’s TK.
Honda has a hard time AAing Deejay without meter in AE.The lp headbutt is an ass AA so you can exploit that. Honda has to make more guesses.
You should use more mk in block strings. It’s an excellent frame trap. DJ’s far st.mk is so fucking good. What was capcom thing lol? I’m not complaining 
^^ you can’t lk sobat over low tigers anymore since airborne property is gone now. also… air to air… deejay’s jump lk comes out faster and hits further than rufus’s jump hk. only thing that beats it is rufus not jumping… otherwise, air to air, dj is king with that annoying move.
How do you utilize Cl.MK as a frame trap? Can you guys give me some setups?
