hey ggpo doesn’t always work for me, does anyone use any other match making programs?
Supercade you can probably try next if GGPO isn’t working for you.
I also finished the Rock video last night here’s the link for the video:

Didn’t know anything like that was possible. Thanks for the video.
Nice stuff man.
So I was on ggpo earlier and this happened:
Rock vs Rock. As Oki I decide to do short hop jA and he does wake up A super. Right when I input the short hop, I press A and he does his super. I mash back down to block just hoping I hadn’t left the ground. The next frame afterward has me doing my jA REALLY low to the ground, but it didn’t show me getting off the ground in the first place. He gets hit out of his super and both of us are kinda wtf’d for a bit.
Any idea what happened? Or has something like this ever happened to anyone here before?
It’s a bug that happens when someone does a super while the other does a small jump input. The small jump barely jumps off the ground. It’s an already known bug. This shows the same bug:

That’s a weird bug. I guess it could be useful in certain situations. I had a question for those that play on GGPO. Who are the best players overall online? Only reason I’m asking is because I want to play better people. I just want to keep an eye out for specific players that are really good. I also wanted to say GGs to those I’ve played so far.
Secret and the Kakkoi bunch are pretty good.
Kakkoi…what is that anyways a clan or something? I’ve seen Secret online while I was on a while back but he was afk so I couldn’t challenge him. Though he did say something about me being able to beat him so I don’t know. I also meant best of the best players online not pretty good.
I was being facetious but I do think you’re really good. I would say these players are the strongest in their respective countries.
Japan: Rhenium, oyatsu, manezo, outofganycu, ameterasu, vevenom, magnuslux, ToiletMan
Brazil: Ky Kiske, PinHead, u_kakkoii, Nolram, churros
France: Byakuya, MarcoSama
Korea: Gary, kakashin, Volg, sudocho
Oh, LessQQ, I think I know who you played now. It had to be ToiletMan, since Baburusu Kun is a Jenet user now.
ToiletMan’s entire game is almost entirely reliant on running and timer wins. He doesn’t guard cancel at all because he doesn’t need to. That guy kicked my ass hard, I gotta say, that is an extremely hard matchup with Dong or Jae, you can’t even do Dong’s qcb+B because Grant can super counter even if it hits. As it stands, I have no idea how to beat that guy, I only got one win out of nine matches (it froze after that).
Ah okay yea I think that was his name now that I remember. Yea he just tends to run away when you start getting too close to him. I should probably take another stab at him though. I think the more I play him the more I’ll be able to counter his run away style. Thanks for listing some names but what about US players? I have horrible connections with European players and South American as well. I only have decent connections with Korean/Japanese players usually.
@ Nocturnal - Hey could you help with something? I use Hotaru and I was wondering what sort of advantages and disadvantages I have against Terry’s and Gato’s. They seem to be the characters I have trouble with. Maybe sometime we can either hope of 360 or ggpo and have a few matches and show me a thing or two. Our last match we had was on 360 and your Grant was beasting like always. lol

there are a few others I’m missing… but this should keep you busy
Thanks for the list.
Yeah, you can add Sensei Sounds and Adobe to that list for U.S. players. They’re both pretty dope, but neither of them are on often.
That must have been a long time ago when it first hit online on the 360. Though playing online on the 360 is a horrible idea. GGPO is the better option. Just hit me up on AIM whenever you see me on and ask to play.
you should play him
