That roll at 2:28 is a really tight call that really shows he knows his zoning, to not get hit by those ex air balls.

I just hit the second lowest tier in championship mode and oh man there is some stiffer competition… I was winning about 75% on the lowest tier towards the end but now i’m back to getting destroyed almost every time… It’s a frickin long road ahead, but at least I know that I’m improving from when I started out losing every mach in the lowest tier haha.
Scykoh (on XBL) filmed a bunch of games between us yesterday, the first 7 or so being Rufus Mirror matches. He pretty much mops the floor with me, as not only is he a pretty good player, but I also just got my stick parts (ls32, square gate) installed in a shoebox, which I was using. I have a LOT of adjusting to do as my execution, coming from the 360 analog stick, is way off. It’s almost embarrassing to play in the championship mode like this, but I gotta practice one way or another. I throw out so many empty fragrance palms that should have been fierce tornadoes, I miss quite a few j.rh juggle opportunities, and I throw a lot of desperation ultras. Pretty sloppy, but hopefully I can clean it up as I get used to using the stick more.
We also did some random matches which resulted in first a chun-li mirror match, and then a ken mirror match, and then a vega mirror match. Crazy odds for that to happen…
I would also like to point out that I suck hard with Gief 
Or it could be persistence and luck. He tried it again with a normal air FB at around 2:41 and ate it.

You’re losing a lot of skill by mashing so much. I hear that and I just… Don’t even wanna say anything. But that’s what causes your bad execution.

does anyone else play the abel match like this? I like to throw out random stand fierces at max range (like I would stand strong vs balrog) cos it stuffs wheel kicks. abel’s best answer to dive kick noise seems to be cr.HP and jump back medium kick (from the jp match videos I’ve watched)
