It’s science. As far as science is concerned one side had the assumption that there was no sexism and the other had the assumption that there is. This, depending on the quality of the work, would answer the question.

Feminist/SJWs have already attempted to debunk the study by insisting contradictory studies conclude the opposite. The truth is that the studies feminist/SJWs use (and the ones people like Anita or wu rely on) all have the same fundamental problems that essentially renders them useless. They use sample sizes of less then 100 people, all from pre-selected groups (private schools or college student volunteers) and admit in the very same studies that in spite of no compelling empiric evidence, data collected from other media studies along with well developed theories on media influence are "good enough"evidence to fill in the gap that is left by the lack of real tangible data. They will also engage in transparent wordplay to continuously change the goal post. At first they will say gaming causes “subtle sexism"then when the evidence isn’t there they will say “actually it reinforces it…see you gotta remember reinforces is different then influences.” Then when the evidence for that doesn’t exist they will say"will it’s possible the effects of gaming are counter-balanced by other aspects of a persons life.”
The best evidence SJW/feminist have is that appararantly there is some short term permissible attitudes towards harassment…but even then it’s only a temporary and the way certain questions are phrased to get this response are a bit questionable. In short the claim games cause sexism is about as valid as games causing violence. I saw a feminist try to argue the 2 are different though because violence is a behaviour and sexism is a attitude…religious ideologues really are amazing at mental gymnastics.
