Dude what. 3S the worst SF3 game? It’s worse than being able to parry both high and low in NG as a result of a bug, as well as the infinites and easy-as-fuck stunning like DJ said?
Fuck outta here.

lol do you think anyone actually thought it would be at evo?
Nah but maybe some people did? I dunno.
Yeah I wasn’t holding my breath for it being at Evo considering they got rid of pretty much all old games for Evo for the last few years any way. Melty Blood is probably the last time an old game will see any spotlight at Evo. We just gotta MVC2 the shit and represent it at all the other majors. Evo has an agenda to fill to make sure the 8 new fighting games that come out all get a spotlight.
You have to unlock the remixed tracks…original ones come with the game so you’ll be good to go.
And mrdrofficer comes out of left field with elitism and arrogance that far surpass us 3S fanboys. Never thought this would have happened…
Awesome…
I don’t know man. I think in time either of the older two would have shown more promise than 3S did in it’s ten years. In an alt. universe where GA was the last one I think it would have came out more balanced in the long-term than 3S did. Those “one hit infinites” would have been discovered and evened out with more dedicated play like 3S got. IMO of course. Plus, blue skies man! Blue skies!
Front page comments ftw
Whatever bro. I wear boat shoes.
Some of them have that feel. If not quite as gritty or bassy as those.
I actually like the remixes they remind me kinda of the streets of rage 3 themes
Huh I like Urien and Ryu’s. Urien’s sounds pretty cool, altho I prefer his original 3S theme more.
If anything Urien’s OE theme reminds me of Geese’s theme, must be the guitar.
Well then. We’ll go have fun playing our 11 year old game while you go snob it up with your 12 year old game with “more colorful graphics”.
You don’t ‘even out’ infinites. You either deal or deal with them.
Well, like I said before, these are only the “A” themes for the stages, which means that when it switches to round 2 the music will change (for better/worse is the question). Sean/Oro stage is actually pretty good now that I’ve given it a second listen. That said, Capcom should’ve called people like Kariu, MaxieDaMan, and NativeDialect when asking for 3S remixes. Those guys are legit:

Yeah I definitely like some of the stuff Kairu did. More in tune with the original stuff but still has its own unique feel. Jazzy New Junk City is just not cutting it for me. Maybe the second mix tho.
LOVE 3RD STRIKE BABY! I also remember seeing this CRAZY Q player in japan named Kuroda.

Love me some Earthworm Jim, especially 2. Lorenzen’s Soil is my shit. Like the Genesis version of the song, but for some reason I just love the snes version of it. Probably because I played that one more
And even though I don’t care too much for these new 3s tunes, I’m gonna chalk that up to a nostalgia boner for the old shit and I’m gonna give these a shot for at least a month and see if they grow on me.
worst remix soundtrack i have ever heard.
So what’s with the “dipswitch mode” they talk about in the reviews? They didn’t go into much detail, but I’m guessing it’s simply the System Direction mode from the other console versions? That might be mildly interesting to toy with, especially if they enable it for Player Matches or something.
