I’m a little confused on how this works but I’m down to fight and record the matches just give me a heads up either here or XBL when I need to fight. I’m on late nights pacific time but could do an afternoon session if we set it up ahead of time.
P.S, I’d almost like to see\record a NHC vs AOD battle Royal sometime if we can get everyone together.

Thanks for the comment! As a HDR enthusiast, it’s a pleasure and great fun for me to be doing this in keeping the HDR scene going. Later down the road if it still continues though, I might need to enlist the help of some assistants to help me with updates and planning. If anyone is interested, keep on the lookout.
To clear up how this works:
For Example: VOLTECHSRK/MisterEgoTrip are Team A, pncntigger/evoanon are Team B.
All matches are best 2 out of 3 rounds, best 1 out of 2 games, for each player. That is, MisterEgoTrip will only play one game against evoanon with default rules (best 2 out of 3 rounds, 99 sec timer etc.), and VOLTECH SRK will play one game against AeroRockman (also with default rules). If MisterEgoTrip beats evoanon in one game, that match is done and Team A is up 1-0. Now if VOLTECH SRK beats pncntigger in one game, that match is done and now Team A is up 2-0 and wins that team battle and moves onto the next team. Team A has now just gained 1 win, and Team B has gained 1 loss. The team that scores 2 wins is the winner of that team battle. Should a draw of 1-1 occur, then each team will determine who will fight in the final match.

…and I’m unclear on 1 thing. For solo players using 2 chars ( as it should be) in the case of a 1-1 draw, how does 1 decide which char to use in the deciding match? Can it be either char, or does it have to be the character that lost?
ie to get a match win a solo player must win with both chars.

For solo players in a case of a draw, you decide which character you want to use for the final round (there’s no one else to consult, right?).

Match ups are posted, check the site for the brackets. I’ve also changed how it’s going to play out. Instead of all that trouble I posted earlier (it’s edited now with the same information), I’ve decided to pair up the opponents myself from how the random drew it. This will save a lot of time and trouble from messaging each other and finding out who played who and what not. Here’s how a typical team battle will work out:

I was wondering … Lets say NLP OU has chosen to play with E.honda and Dhalsim … And the Grid says that NLP OU will be playing with dhalsim against my partner , and as E.honda against me. Could NLP choose to play against me with either of those chars or must he play against me with E.Honda?
