That is great news! If you could record and upload matches (either your own, or others if youāre willing), Iād be able to link up to those videos on the site (the new up and coming one, which will debut on Sunday).
I can do my own for sure and others if I get an invite to the room. Weāll need to get together on the time and details.
Iām on right now for probably a couple of hours and should be on tomorrow afternoon or night. Letās get these matches done

Just a reminder to all players of this week: After everyone is done their matches tomorrow night (either through actual play or defaults), there will still be additional matches (because there canāt be two people for first place, remember?). Right after 10 PM EST/7 PM PST, all those not online will be defaulted to lose the remainder of their matches. Those who are online and done their matches with whomever has shown up by then shall wait for a message from me to indicate their final matches. This shouldnāt take very long so if youāre going to sleep by then just give me 5-10 minutes to set up the final matches and youāll be in bed before midnight.

Gonna have to give in on the rest of my matches for this week. I dont think I can finish them all today. So I throw in the towel, Iāll play next weeks since I get the jist of everything now and probably will have some free time. Iāll play Balrog for next week.
It sucks that you have to do that. I hate having to give anyone forfeits and would rather see the match through, but itās cool with me. Just in case youāre wondering for future use, you drop out anytime before Thursday to avoid penalties for whatever reason. Good luck next week though.

A comment on something that has come to my attention:
Today I was able to witness a great long-time feud match for the tournament point of this weekās event between Super1NYC and Lyghts 0ut. Many of you may be familiar with these two; both are outstanding players with their respective characters. I was to spectate this match, for they had each other muted to avoid trouble and a slight doubt about each other. Of course, being in the room meant that when one of them won, they would have to beat me down to get me to move out of the way. The match was tied at 1 - 1, with Super1NYC taking the first game, and Lyghts 0ut taking the second. During the dummy match to get me to the end of the line, he requested to switch sides (I suppose he felt more comfortable playing on one side than the other). In order for that to happen, I would have had to leave and rejoin, except I forgot that if I left then the person who is suppose to play after would take my spot (which was the side Lyghts 0ut wanted). I hadnāt really thought about this (switching sides) before, so as of next week and in all future tournaments, there will be no switching sides. If you would like to be on the left, you create the room, and for the right ā join the room.
Continuing on ā I didnāt mention it to Super1NYC, and as a result the game was started very promptly after my departure, ending with Lyghts 0ut leaving to create a room. The rules state that a disconnection (or leaving of a room, mid game) means that the player who stayed can choose to rematch or take the win of the round. Do not misunderstand this as winning the game. If itās a fresh game and your opponent disconnects, you can take that as a one round win, but the match will have to be replayed with you up by one round. If you were already winning with one round and your opponent leaves/disconnects, then you can take the win of the game or the rematch.
To recap before any rumors spread:
Lyghts 0ut did not rage quit, it was my fault there was a misunderstanding.
There are no switching sides in the middle of the game.
Disconnects/leaving only allows you to take the win or rematch of the round, NOT the game.
It was an epic match, you all missed it.
I presume you will be team baklakiller with Zangief and Zangief? :lol:
