True man. That big head mode was hilarious, did you also notice how big their feet were, so ridiculous.
But we really are getting a complete package with these game. A fantastic multiplayer, a good coop campaign, horde with a major upgrade and beast mode.

I got it at the midnight event last night/morning…heh, first time I’ve been to one of those since God of War 3 came out. Anyway, Beast Mode seems surprisingly easy at first on Normal…but even on “Hardcore” I couldn’t do shit, man… didn’t even make it past Wave 1(*doesn’t help that on that particular map, they spawned me on practically the other side of the damn map so that I was already running out of time when I saw the first human). On Normal though, it’s a breeze UNTIL you get to that last wave with Prescott and the Onyx Guard. I’m not sure that shit is even possible solo. The first good one you get is the Blood Mount…with that you can outright slaughter so many of the humans with ease, plus BM is FAST. The other one I used after that of course is the godlike Berzerker and Armored Kantus. Sheeeit, it’s like playing as the HULK with glaucoma or somethin’…the humans couldn’t do shit to me until Prescott and his crew showed up. Flamethrower really stops “B.” in her tracks though…unfortunate since it obviously slows down your rampage. I eventually gave up trying to beat Prescott for now. (haha, it’s funny when you attack him and he yells out “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?” in this indignant, angry tone) I’d really like a version of this without the timer though, just for pure fun.
…such a shame I was too late to get the Epic Edition (my Gamestop only had “regular” editions left for pre-order)… the jealousy burned in my soul as I saw 1 person after another walking out last night with that giant box…
Played multiplayer all day and the game is damn amazing. Destroying fools left and right. The sniper… FINALLY it works, that thing was rubbish on GoW2 and it’s finally a power weapon worth going for again. Also I don’t know if this is me but I feel like the torque bow is alot easier compared to the beta.
I think the only thing should be improved are the spawns. Numerous times did the entire enemy team spawn behind me even with my entire team closeby.
And what do you guys think is the best rifle? Personally I think the lancer is the best. It downs FAST. The hammerburst feels different from the beta (could be me again) and the retro is fine. Gun is still devastating upclose but they toned down the blindfire. The sawed off I still dont like it but its pretty easy to see now because they added lights on the gun and the retro lancer is their worst enemy.
Maps so far are pretty good. The only one I don’t really like is the one that slowly sinks into the ground. The sinking effects are sick tho.
