Does the season pass include the initial skins released for weapons so far, or is that a seperate thing and not considered true DLC?
Unfortunately, no.
The abundance of weapon skins must be purchased separately from all other DLC, I believe. However, the November 1st DLC comes with three new maps, three new COGs (where is all the locust love?), new Horde mode abilities, and two different weapon skins. The other stuff on top of the map DLC is one of the reasons why I’m opting to purchase the season pass, because I originally thought the season pass would only allow you to get new maps as they roll out.
Not a deal breaker, I’ll get the season pass soon as I expect one more Hordes bundle and want all the character skins. Onyx Guard looks awesome.

It’s just Bernie, Onyx, and Big Rig Dizzy as the characters right now. Even though they’re already on the disc along with Kim and RAAM.

Also I wish there was an option to select which variant of dialogue you want your character to have from the previous Gears games. Like have Anthony say gears 1 quotes while ben says Gears 2 quotes and so on and so forth.

Sheeeit, I just RECENTLY unlocked the sentry units in Horde. Leveling is slow since I can’t even play as often (most likely…I just hit level 25 last night) as the average Gears 3 fan. Heh, I was surprised that me and only 1 other dude made it to wave 25 last night… how 'bout Mr. Brumak there on Wave 20 can walk THROUGH a building!? That shit was so “questionable” and bullshitty you could just laugh at it…then the game stepped up the cheapness even further when the sumbitch TELEPORTED to the other side of the map once I ran over to that side (it was that beach-looking area/map that I cannot remember the name of)…such hilarious levels of bullshit, man.
*sidenote— isn’t it a bit awkward when you’re already playing with one crew of folks, and you get a message/request to join in with another group? It feels like you end up looking like an asshole to one group no matter which choice is made. I’ve never come across this situation until now, since probably 90% of the folks on my friend list (*or at least the ones I know more closely and have any sort of regular communication with) are playing this game.
Fuck the final chapter in act 5 on 4 player insane.

I was playing a game of TDM last night, and I played pretty bad. There was this one kid on my team who wouldn’t stop complaining, saying how much his team (me and some other guys) sucked. Anyway, we were about to lose and he was the last one left. And he ran up behind a group of enemies with the sawed off… and missed. Then he got destroyed. I told him to stop complaining and suck less with the sawed off, and he sends me one of the oddest messages post game. He said that, and I quote (somewhat), “I wasn’t even trying to kill them, I just wanted to get close. Your rank blah blah blah, expletive, you get the picture.”

This was the answer someone gave me when I pointed out I always get the better of him in private matches and when we team up for Ranked/quick matches I almost always get MVP or at least the highest point total in our team.
What the fuck is the point of gears Multiplayer then? Just think you’re better than everyone else while you keep hogging the biggest power weapon to keep up?

The thing about the weapon skins is they aren’t necessary. So I don’t know why people are making such a big fit over them. I only bought the ones I really like. I highly doubt I would use like 85% of them if I did buy every single one. Especially since a lot of them are very similar.
I bought Team Metal and Team Pulse, but once I got my Gold Omen and Liquid Green, I stopped using those.
Team Compressed looks just like Metal, but with black lines over it.
K/D doesn’t mean much to me in Gears.
I have friends who have like a .8-.9 K/D and are a lot better than the friends who have +2 K/Ds.
One thing I can’t stand is people who play multiplayer and just want to rack up their K/Ds and not be a team player. Especially in modes like Execution and KOTH.
Cap the fucking Sawed Off at level 25.
