Trenches is with the sandstorm but it is awesome. Sandbar is the lame one with the beach and ruins. Very bla. Easy for Horde though…
I played 21 waves of Horde myself today and man will it take awhile to do 50 in one sitting. I was kicking SUPER ass though with the Hammerburst and Sniper Rifle. I felt bad leaving because I felt like so much of a vital part of my team.
Beast mode is fun but it’s over too quickly. Once you get some Boomers going it becomes easy to blow up placements and people in mass.
I can never listen to MadWorld the same way again…
Playing Horde mode on Hotel is hilarious since often times right as the enemies emerge there’s this loud ‘DING!’ and the enemies start pouring out of the hotel. We’ve dubbed the building ‘The Easy Bake Oven’. DING…enemies are done!
In Act 1-1 there is an easier Cluckshot to get (on any difficulty). And btw, it’s not infinite ammo but if you give your AI controlled teammates an empty gun they’ll magically have ammo for it and if you ask for it back you’ll have some rounds back in your gun. So anyway, the cluckshot, when Carmine raise the platform for you to cross instead of killing the lambent and heading downstairs hop over the wall behind the platform and head up the stairs where there is graffiti. There are some frag grenades and the cluckshot.
I managed to get all the way to the top of Griffin’s tower in 4-2 but I forgot to hit the chicken in the weapon shop. Such a bunch of wasted time.
Don’t know who have all seen this… but all the gears 3 multiplayer we will get were leaked (have been for about a month but havent seen many people talk about them). Anyways I will list them here and wrap them in spoiler tags (dont know why this would upset anyone… but just in case people want to be surprised I will do it.
They are bringing back my 2 favorite gears 2 maps in River and Blood Drive which is awesome. Their is actual footage of people who got the unfinished game playing on multiplayer on blood drive, azura, and rust lung so the odds that this leaked list is true is most likely 100% accurate. Over time we will probably get more maps but who knows.
Also a few of the DLC characters will be Bernie, Onyx Guard, RAAM, and a few more… I forget who haha
Sadly I missed out on Gears 1 I only played a limited amount of multiplayer games for that one. It came out my freshman year of college so I was partying for a couple years more than gaming. Gears 2 is what got me into gears. So not much experience on clocktower.
all my other stuff is there but its counting my kills again
the tracks are all fucked up and all my unlocks are gone (collectables and cog tags) but the achievements are there.

Though what would have been doper is if they did this Forza style and let people customize and buy/sell/trade their own skins using in-game currency. Or is that too forward of me?
I think I burned out on Gears for a little while. After playing the first two a couple of weeks before this one I have spent so much time with Delta squad.
Easter Egg: Giant Golden Mutant Chicken
In Act 1-1 on the deck of the ship during your first big skirmish (where all the food is being grown) there are four pipes that are just a big bigger than you with their holes facing you. If you walk up right next to each one and wait a second or two or three, Marcus will say “Helloooo” at different pitches. Once you do it to all four pipes (2 and 2 are facing each other on opposite sides) a chicken will pop out. Keep shooting the chicken and be ready to run like hell.
That Thrashball stadium is such a prime spot for Horde. I was on there all night with a group until around 3:00 am! Upstairs in the concession stands area…that’s such a good spot right there if you have a somewhat well coordinated group watching the left and right entrances, and perhaps 1 guy in the middle area…unfortunately it’s easy to get shot in that middle area since it’s more open. Inside, there’s 2 spots for turrets behind the “bar” looking areas, and of course you can have a Silverback back there as well, just in case. I’ve been dead tired all day at work as a result of last night’s unending chaos.
Oh and it’s easy to kill Brumaks there, since they are obviously too big to get into that concession stands area…it will just be stuck outside, trying to occasionally shoot some missiles and bullets into an entrance. The turret on the right side can safely shoot at him all day if I recall.
Horde gets completely ridiculous though at random times, seemingly…even on NORMAL. It’s like the game itself will get pissed off at your squad’s success, and BAM the next wave is something crazy like several Grinders, Maulers, Boomers, Kantus (*who has such annoyingly perfect accuracy and timing with the damn ink grenades) and whatever else…all rushing you at the same time. Towards the end of last night’s run, of course the locusts had some apparently significant boosts to their stats… I know it was this way in Gears 2’s Horde as well, but it’s kinda funny when even the all-powerful Sawed-Off doesn’t instantly kill those guys anymore…roll up and blast a Grinder with SO. Watch as he laughs like Nigga please. and unloads that mulcher to shred your face. It’s a love/hate relationship though… the madness and insanity is…beautiful.

I was hoping there would be a Cucco easter egg in the game, I mean with all the chickens in the game was just asking for it. I shot each and every chicken for a long ass time to see if anything would happen.
