is it true the campaign is only 7-8 hours? i’ve seen that number used twice by the media. i don’t care for gears multi and would only be picking up for single. maybe i’ll rent if that short
Dont care for Multiplayer?? :looney: Single players only good to go through a couple times, but multi?? U can always think of new phucked up ways to kill ppl. GOW2 multi for life… Or, until Gears 3…:xeye:

I’m planning on getting this the day of release right after class. I also reserved COD5 which made me trade in all the 360 games I had. 
At least I have Dead Space on my pc.

The Multiplayer has bots in Gears 2, so you don’t even need to go online anymore. Its a great game trust me.
Pretty stoked, I’ll be adding peoples GT’s in here once the game drops. Friends and I are doing a huge GoW2 lan party this Saturday, gonna be dope.
As long as I play with some cool ass people (I ain’t good in the game, nor do I want to be destroyed by someone and then have them talk shit to me) Im down for some MP.

The L trigger makes you a sitting duck you should only use it for a split second as you take your shot.

Is GOW multi good? I don’t think the game mechanics transfer over to multiplayer very well, it looked broken to me from the beginning. Maybe GOW 2 will be a different story.
yes, for shot gun battles. Most all else, u gotta aim ( as long as its from safe distance.
The game mechanics and level design are fucking incredible and have so much potential to be the best mp shooter ever. However rolling up to someone with perfect reloaded shottie and then rolling away before they can shoot back if they’re not dead is soo good it’s completely devolves the entire experience to everyone rolling around like retarded monkeys.
Gears suffered fro ma ton of game breaking glitches ike being able to step out of a level, check out the dev diary on the MP they talk about how they remove the bullshit brokenness of shottie roll spam with a new mechanic called stopping power.
So it’s looking like they took the bullshit out of the multiplayer and actually added to the already deep game play with new weapons and mp modes.
Wingman mode is going to be MADNESS.

Yea, I know. Add me to your list or I’ll add you later on but I’m going to play this a lot when I get it. My favorite gun was the snipe or lancer so I’d always aim from afar. I never really liked the shotgun but I got really good with it after a while and kept it as a backup just in case.

yep, be sure to pick it up. I’m not shelling extra money for the LE version though, seems like a waste of money for something you probably won’t touch after the first day. :lol:
this game will be awsome when it comes out. btw the story mode can be played with 3 other people so thats going to be a lot of fun and the new hoard mode that lets a hoard of locust come after you thats just str8 genius GOW2 FTW COD wont be as good
^^Really nice to know since I have more than one person who want to play the co-op mode.
Well you guys should finally be getting the game this week, so I’ll be on to play if you wana get some games in or even do co op mode. I’m done with the game already, but campaign mode was so fun I don’t mind doing it again. Especially with other people playing along. I do wana try insane mode though.
