hell yea, one of the few things multiplayer has going for it. i think i got spoiled with the cod4 multiplayer
Tried Horde mode with a couple of friends yesterday, got as far as Wave 10 before getting too beaten down. Think we’re gonna need 5 people for that. those big guys with the ball and chain are punishing, jesus christ.
Matchmaking sucks HORD! But Horde Mode is nice. They need to patch the shit out of online.

Yeah it’s basically impossible to get into a Public match by yourself. The only time I’ve been able to get into a public match is by going in with a party. They really need to get on that cuz that sucks. I’m starting to note some randomness popping up like it would in Gears1, example:(well this happens to me) I’m running up to a guy and I rev my chainsaw to get the kill, he shoots me a couple of times and my chainsaw goes down and he in turn chainsaws me. The problem with this, nothing, no problem at all, the only thing is that when someone comes up to me with the chainsaw that I would be able to do the same thing.
If this was a once and a while thing I wouldn’t complain about it, but this happend over and over again, even when I shot him with the shot gun. (More complaints on the shot gun to come) This even happend when one of my team mates was shooting at an enemy and they were still able to get in the chainsaw.
This is just a preview of my complaints, I plan on writing stuff down and getting yalls input to hopefully help me “Fight Through The Pain”.
But don’t get me wrong it’s still a very awesome game, my favorite so far on console, it’s just the little things on online that get to me a little. But things like this are gonna happen, I had hopes of online being a little better than part one (which it is), but i did expect these type of problems.
On the lighter side of things R l C and myself, as of last night, can add Hoard the Horde achievement to our list. We were able to do lvls 1-50 in one solid day. Crowd CheeringThank you, thank you.

hell yea, i can’t remember who it was on here i was with yesterday for those rounds but we were locked down behind a small cover and held that shit down until the very end when the bigger guns came out… bah
If you’re playing by yourself I suggest trying wingman. That’s the only gametype that I’ve been able to get matches in less than 3-5 minutes or so. The only downside is that if you’re not playing with a friend you’re more than likely to get teamed with a scrub.
I’ve played dozens of matches where my teammate had 0-2 kills.
And that chainsaw thing that one guy mentioned happens to me too. I think it may be host or something like that but the way I combat is just to pick the lancer instead of the other gun. I have yet to lose a chainsaw battle. :nunchuck:

Love the new weapons (motar:lovin:)

5 player multi
Hord mode
Torque headshots (yes u can)
flash back maps look way better
love “hail” on multi
Cons:
Multi seems less fun/intense :
roadie run lost the camera shake effect
sounds effects seem nerfd when you kill ppl
the “chunks” effects when you kill ppl seems nerfd :bluu:
Meat shield is’nt risky -Exp: If you get torqued and you’re stand next to a teammate u both blow up, same goes for frags n boom. Now, if your holding a meat shield n he gets torqued , only the shield blow up n ur not even hurt, same goes for boom. With a frag though, if its right under ur feet, ur shield will blow up and put u on ur knees…:wtf:
I think if ur the meat shield u should be able to struggle or something to break free eventually, and if say someone snipes the guy holding the meet shield, you should be able to get back in the game n play again, because ya know, you didn’t get ur neck broken.:xeye:
Boomshot now has 3 shots?:wtf: Although im a demolitionist and i love useing all the explosives in the game, giving the boom and extra shot is’nt right… if it was 6on 6 now, then ya i can see that, but 3 boom shots just makes it to easy for me:rolleyes:
Multi’s new match making system is ass:mad: i really miss joining random public matches, now i have to rely on having friends online. Takes for ever to get in a ranked match, unless u already got 5 friends in ur lobby, then it goes really fast.
The nonstop action thrill ride made this game GOTY for me.
I think it was your a JMUSSIO. Yall were holding it down…from the ghost cam though, there was NO way yall could of gotten out of that. There was a Boomer coming down the left stairs about 10 seconds before the end.
You can use your grenades if you have some to take the dude with you. It even works if they do the flashy execution. Don’t know if it works for all of them but I did it when someone tried to beat me down with the punches. I just blew him up.
The ending sequence (sequences?) is a rollercoaster of pure awesome :woot:

Yeah the Lancer is awesome, don’t get me wrong I do have to give credit where credit is due, the Hammer is pretty awesome, but for some reason I just have a whole lot more fun with the Lancer.
To bad there isn’t a chainsaw achievement, I would be all up on that shit.
I love the Lancer, thats my prime with the snipes on backup.
Whats the deal with people crying about the shotgun?
i forgot you can do that, but how?? and do you already have to have them equiped, or can you switch to them when ur down??
Shotgun is still pretty beastly BUT, you have to be able to use it. It’s no where near as random as it used to be so you don’t have to worry about blasting someone 3 times then getting downed after only 1 shot.
I don’t really use it unless I’m fighting a shotgun myself in close range.
For nades, I think it’s just RT when you’re getting grabbed because you immediately die once they pick you up. I don’t think you need them equipped but the last time I did it I did have them equipped. I’ll mess around with it more to get more specific but pretty sure that’s how.
So after looking everywhere I can’t seem to figure this out: Aren’t there supposed to be extended executions that are different depending on what weapons you have? I could have sworn I’ve seen videos of this but I can’t figure out how to do them. Manual says it’s Y but that always does the punch execution. Help?
