Im having a hard time with Feint canceling? Could someone give a tip or something they do to make it easier?
Make sure you’re doing the right one, either f+A+C or d+A+C. Most characters have a ‘preffered’ or ‘better’ one, though some also have peripheral uses outside of combo making.
Terry’s is f+A+C. First try getting closeC f+A+C crouchC qcf+C (3hits)
If you can get that ok, try doing closeC f+A+C closeC f+A+C crouchC qcf+C (4hits)
If you can get that, try an additional closeC f+A+C after the first two. Getting all 3 can be tough even if you can easily get two close C’s into crouch C.
BTW, just curious, how good is this combo for Dong-
Jumping anything–>Crouching C-Feint->Crouching D
Corner: Jumping anything–>Crouching B–>Crouching C-Feint->Crouching D
It all depends on whether you have meter with Dong or not, if your going for mixups then a knockdown would be an option. If you have meter it would be better going for a super after the down + C. That or either feint cancel into a grab to mix it up if they end up blocking your combo setup.
Also I found some more japanese Garou matches from mhatas (Red Kain from the Howard Arena matches) site. From what I could read its from a place/arcade called Kansai where they hold Garou tournies as well every 2 weeks it seems. Here is the site for the videos for download:

It should be around somewhere but nothing has come up since Magician has been pretty busy as of late. Hopefully soon another meet will come about, until then keep your eyes open for the thread.
And here I was just about to mention that. I think it’s kind of good to start over. When we’ll start over is another thing. As some of you guys have noticed, I’ve sort of been forced into an early retirement. I’ll make sure I get in contact with the regulars whenever an openning comes up. So I was reading up on some Hokuto No Ken on Dustloop and there’s something similar to the above vid in the above link.

On the dustloop forum he said the input on HnK was easy but more complicated in MotW.
Now I know I’ve beaten some crazy stuff and I was wondering what I do different those times.

In match 25 and 26 from the Kansai site… there is this jump cancel thing I’ve mentioned a few times in the thread. Gato does a jump (probably short) HK, Kain does a super and the jump attack immediately stops and Gato can block.
The stuff they show with Dong and talk about I can explain, well main thing is Dongs dp + punch has a lot of priority. A lot like Terrys dp + kick, so it can beat out a lot of things if done at the right times. What they explain is how you can you store motions in between your normals. So for example with Dong instead of doing stand dp + A you would instead do dp + A + D then press A right after it. So what happens is whenever you press anything with D mainly it causes no specials or supers to come out. All it does it store your motions instead so you can create shortcuts for doing them. The same method can be used for combos as well, like I’m sure most of you have seen in the Howard Arena matches. Like with Freeman how they always connect a super after a stand A with him on reaction. The reason behind that is because they use that store shortcut method of pressing A + D. So with him you would do qcf + A + D, then just qcf + A or C after it for a super to connect.
Same for how they show Marco going through Kevins super, they do qcfx2 + A + D, then D after it. Since you press A + D you wont get his fireball super but instead you get his f + A to come out. Since that counts as a normal attack as well, not as a special move. So when you press D as it comes out you pretty much just kara into his qcfx2 + D super. As for the Gato quick small jump I believe the way that works is if you small jump as a super comes out, the small jump recovers quicker. Like in this video also where Rock does it agains’t Tizoc 720 grab:

Pretty sure thats the prototype version, and that you can only do a maximum of four feint cancels with Jae in that combo in the normal version.
No that was actually done on the Ps2 version of Garou but I know it it possible to do in good arcade version of Garou as well. The only thing is that it is very very hard to pull off that combo, you will never see it done in an actual match. At the most you will probably see 3 reps I would say then a d + C, they more than likely used some type of macro comtroller. Even though I have been able to do 6 reps of it that in training more but again it wasn’t very easy to do. You have to have real fast hands to be able to pull it off and it has to be feint cancel and dash cancelled perfect to work.
Wow, my bad, I didnt think it was possible to pull off that many. Kinda like Grant’s df+c move, I thought it would have a limit.
