We’ve got a month to pull together the biggest Garou tournament ever.

Game: Mark Of The Wolves (Set 1)

Emulator: MAME32K 0.64

Date: Sunday May 14th

Time: 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time

Format: 2/3 Falls, Double Elimination. 3/5 Falls Winners and Losers Finals. 4/7 Grand Finals.

Server: Godweapon Server 1, Anti3D

All brackets will be co-ordinated through #garoutournament on Efnet.

NOTES

  • Mandatory IRC rule is still in effect. If you have come across players on Kaillera that play this game please send them a link to this thread and tell them to get IRC. I will not co-ordinate matches between IRC and Kaillera because people don’t want to take 30 seconds for a couple meg download.

  • Boss characters are allowed. Be ready to play against them.

  • The ranks from the previous seven tournaments will be used in this tournament. Any new players will be inserted at random in remaining slots. I’m not going to debate over this because you know that “I’m better than that guy.” If you’re an awesome player and you haven’t entered a tournament yet then you don’t get ranked. It’s just that simple.

Simply put, I want this tournament to not only surpass the 31 players we had a couple months back, I want to hit the 64 player mark. I know that sounds insane but if everyone reading this thread makes sure to hit up Kaillera and get the word out, along with making sure that people sign up with SRK and IRC, we can truly make a gigantic tournament.

79 views and only 1 post? Come on guys, I’d appreciate it if you posted up if you planned to join. It gives me an idea on numbers and how hard I have to work at promotion.

Also, please tell your opponents on Kaillera about the tourney as you play them.

JDing is easy…problem is guard cancelling into moves like dp+K(with Terry), which I’m attempting to get down to punish any jumpin I happen to JD.

I put in my two weeks notice last week, this Friday’s my last day at work, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be available for this tournament. I look forward to playing you all

I just started playing, but Im in if theres an extra spot. I just have no idea how to play people online, I just play the arcade version on Mame. If anyone wants to let me know how to play on kaillera or whatever is needed, Id be grateful. :tup:
