omg there’s going to be a one night world premiere for the Gantz movie on 1/20 next week!! Going to be english dubbed, wish it was subbed but this is still good.
So lucky there’s 2 theatres in my city that are premiering this

I actually might go to see it tonight since it’s playing in my city, but it being dubbed sucks. It would be nice to see a review of the movie first, I hate wasting money.

Not really mad about Golgo 13 or Lara Croft not being in the movie, or lack of titties, but I really wanted to see the birds in action. :sad:
But yeah, it was worth the 12.50 I paid, especially if you can get over the dub. Robot alien was HILARIOUS, Kishimoto looked the part, Tae looks alot better in the movie, and hundred hand Bhudda didnt give a fuck as it should be. Will be back for Part 2.
yeah, Tae was too attractive. dub could have been MUCH worse. i thought it was decent (and i HATE all dubs). i kinda wanted him to fight BossBird, but the impact would have been lessened because he had his suit on. Robot was way harder though which i loved.
my theater was full of weeaboos and professional LARPers. one dude was wearing a black trench coat, black pants, black shoes and had black shit all over his face. like he painted claw marks over one side of his face. he would not STFU. it was raining kind of bad during the movie so our stuff got cut off for a few seconds and a little bit of satellite pixelization. it wasn’t bad though. one dude in front of us stood up during the credits and left the theater. i thought he shit in the seat it smelled so bad.
did you stay after the credits? they had a live interview. Kato would give 3+ minute long speeches and then the translator had to belt it back out to the crowd. i felt so bad for Kato’s translator 
you could see him squirming when Kato would keep adding sentences to his speeches.
good times. good times.
i enjoyed it, didn’t stay for the interview tho. Hopefully they do part 2 in subtitles, i doubt they will but man i hate dubs…

The glasses guy and Katou’s girl from the Osaka team are back! Gantz ball can’t rez people anymore. Story is getting pretty interesting.
2 years later they’re only 40 chapters beyond where they were.
