So if Nurari can understand it, then he can’t be hurt by it. I assume he’ll be hurt by the sniping for a bit until he understands what’s taking place then adapt to it. Maybe Oka was planning to make another surprise attack on Nurari but was found out?

You know, that kind of confused me. I was under the assumption that Nishi was some kind of top-tier fighter considering his badass attitude and his previous experience. . .but he just spams the same tactic over and over again. That just screams “scrub” to me. :rolleyes:
Well he’s still a middle school kid who hasn’t even gotten 100 points yet. However, he seems to have a pretty deep knowledge of Gantz and how it works he just hasn’t given out info about it. I think he figured a way around discussing Gantz outside of the actual death matches. Remember, if you talked about Gantz with people directly, your head would explode but I believe he set up a blog type of thing on the internet to discuss Gantz and find others trapped in it.
My guess is he’s been around for a while with previous Gantz teams and although he wasn’t making kills, he was observing and staying safe. Remember he was even going to let Kurono have the points for the onion alien instead of finishing it off himself. I can’t figure him out. He seems top tier in sneaking around but once he’s found out, he’s done for. I was impressed that he flattened Nurari with that gravity gun, in fact I had completely forgotten he was even there the whole fight until he stepped in.
I’m not even sure someone who hasn’t even cleared one time with 100 pts should have access to cloaking skills. Oka is the only other person who was cloaked and one of the Osaka members saying about him, “He likes to sneak around”. Maybe Nishi took his cloak device off a dead/dying team member’s body before Kurono and the group even met him? He has the potential to evolve into a serious badass but that’s if the person creating the manga wants him alive that long. I hope so. Or maybe he HAS gotten a 100 pts before and chose to stay but realized that the games are getting too dangerous so now he wants out.

Izumi also could do the cloaking thing. He did it on the train, although he has reached 100 points before. I think you just change your frequency on the suit and it cloaks you.
I’m doubting that Nishi has reached 100 before. It took a helluva lot for Izumi to remember. Nishi’s blog, Kei being there, and even an attack on the school by that short muscular alien. Even then Izumi went on that Massacre and killed most of the Tokyo Team IRL, then he had to be killed again in order to be brought back into Gantz.
Maybe he has reached 100 before, but it would take a lot for him to remember. Even then he would have to die in order to participate in Gantz again.
All the hype about Oka, the mech, the swagnificent introduction (he plays ping pong!) and he gets merked off panel with some Sub Zero finishing move…:shake:

Please. You’re going to throw Sirlin at me? I’ve read that shit long and hard 4 years ago. My point is that he’s spamming a single tactic and hoping that carries him through every single battle, just because it works moderately well.
If he was such a badass and even remotely intelligent, he would work on some other tactics or skills that would carry him through if his dominant strategy fell through. You know, contingency plans, Batman-style. As it is, it seems like all he can do is cloak and strike, then fail miserably.

Oku has all but proven if he can’t cloak and kill his way through a mission without a heavy dose of luck he isn’t likely to survive. It’s a wonder why he is still alive considering the lack of purpose he currently serves in this manga. But what I seriously find more comical is the fact people are still reading this crock of shit.
I actually had to quit for a while only to return to the death of Oka Hachirou and a legion of fanboys convinced he died fighting against Nuri with his SECRET STASH OF UBAR WEAPONZ!1 he somehow couldn’t carry along in his mech, super suit AND flying bike. :rolleyes:
