Gaming journalism is just like any other sort of journalism. It evolves and becomes more than just a story. I don’t see how this is a surprise because the industry has been kinda whoring out the middle man ever since news sites like IGN, Gamespot, GameTrailers and many other media outlets have become big.

I don’t think Zoe is completely innocent in all this, nor did I say she was. Bad because she cheated on her boyfriend? Yes. Whore because she slept with 5 people? Who cares about the number. People can sleep with how many people they wish to. Her sex life really isn’t my or anyone else’s business and it didn’t need to be public knowledge. Is this about journalist integrity? That shit has been long dead so this whole shitstorm is really irrelevant. Pretty much everyone looks bad.
At no point in this thread have I ever denied these points. All the people involved here are shitty people and like I stated before I don’t personally care who she slept with. The videos I posted state the same point repeatedly, however it’s a issue when you consider who she slept with. Ultimately this news isn’t going to enlighten us on anything we didn’t already know about game journalism. I just thought it was a interesting topic because I dislike the hypocrisy and self righteousness of people like Zoe and the kotaku community.
