Yeah…like as many as there are gonna be in the team tournament. We get some decent turnouts but it’s like…you get the 4 or 5 guys that regularly come and the rest are the weirdos that come out to play that also happen to know how to play Slash. So sometimes you’ll get decent turnouts for Slash when people hear about it. Sometimes you get crap turnouts like just past C3 where I randomly tied for 5th. :lol:

DJ: That’s exactly the point of the NGBC team tourney - just a normal team tourney, not NC vs MD/VA. I think I’ll post up some full rules tonight and see what people think about it. We’ve got so many people who play around here but don’t have the time to learn it / don’t want to play in the tournament. If this goes down, hopefully we can alleviate that.
We can do like Lu said and have a mini-tourney to determine GG team for NC. Though I’m not even sure if it’ll go down after talking to Gunflame Buri and finding that he’s not coming.
Gunflame not coming kinda sucks but Shazay can still hold ish down. Hell…throw me on the team. I might randomly win a match.

Team tournament for Garou huh? Sounds like fun even though I can’t play that game for shit (and don’t really care to). How many team tournaments are we looking at now? From what people are asking it sounds like we could have 4 or 5 + different team tourneys which would hella cut into tournament time for singles. It’s nice to want all of these different tourneys but some of these games I doubt will have the turnout or the time for a team tournament. Especially considering this is at a mall that probably closes before 10. You guys must be into SNK more than we are up here cuz getting a team tournament for games like Garou or Samurai Shodown set up at C3 would be a feat in itself.
I’ll let the peepz know at the tournament to start running tournaments around your pay day. :lol: The console fighting game scene is really starting to pick up now especially after Evo 2k6. It’s not like the long hiatus of competitive gaming like there used to be right after Evo. People know playing this shit can get them somewhere (both competitively and financially) so peepz are ready to throwdown a tournament just about when and wherever now since console tourneys are the norm now.
