Wanted to introduce myself. Getting back into the sf scene as of recently and with ssf4 coming i wanted to find some locals that may want to have fight nights.

Anyone curious to come, we will have a “preview” of “Super Street Fighter IV” for this weeks set! And yes. We could use Blanka practice to avoid those nonsense Ultra Ball cross-ups

Im newer to these forums, and Im gonna have to get out to one of these game nights. I live near mentor. If anyone wants to play on 360, my gt is YeTi Ci. I usually play mvc2 and sf4, I have HDremix but I havnt played it much, mainly bought it because it was on sale a week or two ago.
Got a MvC TE stick at gamestop today, brand new for 70, couldnt pass it up.

nomrah and 4thgate have been getting serious in it the last couple months and leveled up quick. Once Super drops I think a couple guys are giving it a chance, but since I know it’s going to be the same snoozefest don’t expect it to be played for extended periods – I can’t have a whole mess of people crashing on a weeknight because they got Sleep cast on them by SF4.
We might be starting CvS2 as well

Also yea I like sf4(and ssf4 when it comes out), mvc2, and I havnt really played hdremix at all, just wanted to get it because it was cheap. Im still sorta learning with the stick.
Ive had a SE for a few weeks but could never seem to get a few combos off consistantly in sf4 so hopefully this TE with the better parts will help. Ill def. need to try and get out one of these days, maybe once I dont have to worry about waking up for class in the summer.

You could have modded your SE, that would’ve been cheaper. It’s not that hard if you ever feel like doing it
Yea i know I could have modded the SE, but I like how the TE’s are bigger and for the cost of the stick and the buttons, for $70 i couldnt really pass it up with it being brand new. And now I have a stick for me and my brother. But I will definately try to make it out one of these days.
Our crowd is at least 4 we had 6 last time but as said this is just starting out but the crowds really laid back you’ll have a good time for sure. If we’re playing SSF4 this week and we have the stream going I can spread the word to give us a nice amount of viewers for the stream.

Hey can anyone give me some background on PSPs? I’m looking to get one to mess around with, but want to make sure I get the right kind, you know, one I that I can play “homebrew games” with… is the modding process lengthy to get it to that point? Let me know, I see a 1000 series on Craigslist for cheap. Thanks.
Get a 2000. 1000s = low battery, 3000s are funky(chargers die randomly, easier to put CFW on.) I haven’t had a problem with my 2000 yet and I’ve had it for 3 years.

I actually may have a PSP 2000 with CFW for sale. I’m sorta on the fence on if I wanna sell it or not since I do want some fun times with Monster Hunter Portable 3. But yeah god with a 2000 over a 1000 if you can.
