If you pay for your own plexi, I’ll make the art and all that for you;
i thought u already had an akuma template that u didnt use thats all i was asking. then again the vanilla sf4 template is a bit outdated at this point…
I’ve got one. But how can you deal with reverse DP for your demon flips
ive only fucked it up 500 times
If you do use Wesker, you can combo your j.s in the air into an OTG assist into Kikosho in the corner. In my opinion, it’s pretty useful for extra damage when you don’t have 2c (jc) j.a j.b j.b j.c j.s 5b down well enough, since I find I have a hard time using meter with Chun. Also, Chun can j.b into LL for an instant overhead and combo that into a ground string, but I forgot to test if it hit crouching people, and if it doesn’t, what’s the point? Just some things I saw while I was messing around.
Dang, 201 comments. The front page article is exploding.

The Only Problem With MVC3…is xfactor level 3, sentinel, high damage, and little incentive to do hard combos for 20,000 more damage.
i love the comparison to starcraft lol. starcraft had scrub tactics so mvc3 is allowed to also.
I don’t know about Sentinel. He could either be Meta Knight of MVC3 [SS TIER ALL DAYYYYY] or the BBCS Ragna [Widely considered to be top 3 until people starting figuring out his game, as far as I’ve heard]. I do agree that X-Factor is ridiculous though. We should try playing some games with lower damage settings; some people said it was pretty fun.

Nothing to do with GOOD Sentinels, but yeah.
Xfactor lvl3 is too much. They should’ve just kept it at lvl1.
Sentinel is strong but I still don’t think he’s gonna be SS+whateverpeoplecomeupwiththesedays.
High damage is kinda annoying, but it’s good to know that most chars can kill Sent in 1-2 combos.
Little incentive? Maybe in terms of damage, but meter building isn’t scaled back. If combo A and combo B both do x dmg, but combo B has more hits and uses as much meter as A, then why not go for combo B?
EDIT: coming from someone who’s still doing A, B, C, S, B, B, C, S combos.
You don’t want to drop your combo. That’s why shorter combos are nicer.
go for a hard combo for some meter or make sure i kill the character…hmm
That’s what training mode’s for.
^Why does it matter? I thought you didn’t drop combos.
EDIT: my opinion might change once I actually start playing the game though. And I might start going for TACs instead if I feel lazy but want meter.
That video is bad, no good Sentinel will spam mindlessly like that.
I do like to spam Sentinel assist. MvC3 is fun to play but too broken, I don’t anyone should take the game too seriously.
The game isn’t broken, people just haven’t found a surefire way around all the week 1 bullshit. We all complained about Sagat in vanilla, but when people found out how to fight him he wasn’t able to get those high damage combos out all the time. Same thing with this game. Almost every character has a way to deal with sentinal when he is and isn’t spamming beams, so just figure out what you’re character can do and do it.
thats true matt, but there’s still the case of the assist. thats the most annoying part
Hear Sentinel, unleash Proton Cannon. SO MUCH DAMAGE
There is always chance for patch, but now the game should call sentinel Vs X-factors, still so much fun though.
BAHAHAHAHA

You’d better get to training Hamilton. So much proration!
Wow, 18 pages…So it took me a little while to look for the new thread.
Tax return made me slightly less poor so I threw down the cash for MvC3 a few days ago. Rocking team lazer/arrows so far Doom/Taskmaster/Ironman.
Hopefully I will be free from publix next time there is some gaming. I might be out of commission a little longer because of tests before spring break and getting married, but post spring break I hope I can start making it to play some more.
So who’s up for some Marvel with Tally? We’ve got a tournament happening Saturday, MvC3.
