this is the inside of the ex2 hori i just modded and it has sanwa buttons and sanwa stick. Im asking $200 for it and the buttons and stick were a pain to get in there. the buttons are wired on to the pcb not into it. its better this way.i left the face plate empty cause i would think the buyer would like to add there own artwork instead of me doing it and they not likeing it. so i leave that up to the buyer.

Hmm, interesting point there. who else is there to money match who is even half way decent? Okay there is East Point, but at this point my SF4 game hasn’t evolved to play foreign competition. I’m not even sure of their style of play. Is it footsies/spacing or gimmicks/shennigans? Turtle or Rushdown? I have zero exposure to anyone’s play style except for people at Waba. And let’s be honest with ourselves, you always ask me to money match you anytime you see me at a tournament. So if I am money matching you, I to some degree think you have some skill level worth playing against. You won’t see me money matching Lebron in anything.
Money matches are selfish for me anyway, I only money match to gain more insight into the overall game or insight about someone’s playstyle. When money is on the line people play a no frills no bullshit manner. Okay there are some people who try to gimmick there way into money matches, but that’s pretty limited, and honestly I have no interest in money matching them anyway.
Basically, I’m money matching you to make it worth YOUR time. In an ideal world, I’d sit down with you in a session and play you for free. But things don’t work that way in the real world, so that’s what I have to do.
I’m only confident I can beat you if you underestimate me, or try to show off. It gives me insight into what you have learned about the game and how people in GA are playing SF4 in general. This gives me a number of things to analyze and apply to my own game once the game is released on PC. Also I want to see how well my strategies and mindgames are against quality competition.
Also, I’m money matching you because I did beat metalmike 2-1 at Waba a few weeks back. This could be totally because he underestimated me and decided to run a robotic Balrog instead of trying to outsmart me. Of course after losing to him the previous week, I simply studied this matchup and then found out how to beat robotic Balrogs in general. I think Mike overall is a good player but he just wasn’t ready for me being ready for him.
But if you want a higher wager, then it’s double the matches. I can play you first to 10 for $50. This depends on my bankroll the day of the tournament. Honestly, I like playing long sets. Since this money match is more about me trying to learn the game and the scene, then trying to get paid, then I’m conservative in my betting. If it was a game I had a chance to practice, then higher bets will be issued. So if you want to get paid big money, then you better hope Capcom releases SF4 for PC ASAP.

I’ll money match you in Guilty Gear but only for $5 3 out of 5. It’s not much, but it’s better then nothing. I haven’t played Guilty Gear in forever, and I’m not made out of money. As far as SFIV is concerned, no I want play you, not familiar enough about your playstyle. Hit me up for casuals though if you come to Atlanta Revival. I really want to play against a decent Sagat. It’s my favorite matchup for Guile since you have to have a strong Guile to beat Sagat. And I need to play against Sagats to make my footsies game with Guile stronger.

Damn, what’s up with the temper tantrum? Anyway, that post has me interested to say the least. I haven’t played against any really good Sagats. And it’s obvious because I’ve never lost a match to Sagat in SFIV yet. But it may be my overall experience in this matchup (I come from the old school days of running CE Guile vs CE Sagat which is fucking way harder than this SFIV matchup). Okay, then bet it. I’ll meet you halfway, FT5 for $20. I want to see this Sagat of yours.
And for the record, I don’t think you’re sorry at all. I didn’t say anything about your playstyle except I’m pretty unfamiliar with it. But it’s interesting if you just play on reacting to your opponent, because that’s pretty much how I play. So it should be interesting. I’m tired of playing autopilot/robot players who are just using the power of their character, and canned mixups just to get by. I need to play against actual thinking opponents. So if you come to Atlanta Revival, bet it. FT5 for $20. It’s not much, but it’s worth the price of admission to play against a worthy Sagat guaranteed.
Sorry Eddie, this pretty much sabotage your chance at a FT10 for $50. Despite what everyone thinks, I’m not made of money. Plus I’m only willing to spend a max amount of $100 at the tournament. However Joel, if I beat Eddie in our money match, then I’ll up the stakes of our money match FT7 for $50. Deal.
P.S. I’m not sure if Eddie will use Sagat since he character switches a lot. So I was hoping I at least win some matches to force him to switch to Sagat, but this
is not guaranteed.
P.P.S: Also Nato, I’m willing to do a friendly 3 out of 5 MM for $10 in ST. Guile vs. Guile mirror, on whomevers laptop (if it can’t happen I’ll bring my laptop). Sorry I don’t like Dreamcast unreliable hitboxes and I’m really not impressed with HDR Classic mode. Although I don’t think it effects Guile vs Guile in particular, it’s just a matter or preference.

Yeah, sounds like it will be fun. And yeah, I’m studying the matchups particularly Guile vs. Rufus. I beat Jason L using Rufus at Waba in casuals, but I don’t believe Jason L has much experience using the character. So I’m not taking any credit for that.
Now as far as reaction time is concerned, my reaction time is Godlike. Jwong himself probably is too fucking slow to handle me. I come from the old school days on doing shit on reaction. So my reaction speed is pretty fucking high. Even if you watch my embarrassing matches, you’d at the very least see fucking ridiculous reaction speed. I can jab or poke anyone out of anything ON REACTION. Back in the days I could DP Balrog out of a TAP on reaction in HF (that’s was when I was misguided for awhile and using Ryu. And now at almost 30 years old, my reaction time is faster than all of you kids playing now. I mean it’s like I’m fucking Neo from the Matrix. Everything is in slow motion. I know it sounds arrogant, but the sad thing about it, I’m probably underestimating my Godlike reaction time.
