the problem is that place has some size, but no parking plus I am north of atlanta, east point though on busline to there is over 45 minutes, a drive for jason l and myself is 45 minutes just to come and have no where to park sucks, if they were actually INSIDE like the grocery store shopping center it would be great but near those train tracks pffft.
You should be able to dominate over there bro’ get you some minor tournaments and cash flow going for Larry’s SEB / Impact Clash and Maybe Revival.

Where and what it is?
To attempt to do it at that location is a far fetched idea, I speak on it that way because the previous time we all went there as a tournament unit, only one guy had the guts to play against us.
The next two times I went to setup more tournaments with smitspot, the guys our age, teenagers to 26 year olds, could not take losing well at all, everything I did was cheap or un-explainable or just un-exceptable.
Them PLAYING SF4 right now is great…
Them BEING COMPETITIVE in SF4 is a totally different thing.
We also can’t just think like “Oh but they scrubs iceman we can go there and bring 30 people plus there own 30 people and just make bank off that alone” Ummm no, it don’t work liek that, you play casuals, they will all begin to drop our 5 by 5, things need to be set in stone before you ATTEMPT to take a truelly competitive group of people to a location that only seats about 30 anyways, spend gas or bus fare, to get there and the pot dwindle down from $600 to $200 in less than 30 minutes.
East Point is the Location of quite possibly Ga’s 1st or 2nd best talent in a variety of games, these individuals play practically any and everything, though they don’t play every single game at every single gathering, the main games would consist of what the community would like to play, right now SF4 / SC4 / MvC2 are the games of choice, occasional KOF/SF3rd Strike/ money matches in a ton other games like … what ever your confident in lol.
Ga is the home to some of if not the best in 3D gaming so if you play those your in good hands but they also pick up very well on other things like Melty blood etc.
very friendly people, shit talkers but usually never in a disrespectful manor, highly respected, tried tested and proven.
Pay close attention to the Ga thread because gatherings are going down like every week now, hit up the Atlantic South Divisions Address book to jot down our contact info, call, email, and post in this very thread to make yourself known and throw your name into the hat for gatherings, upcoming tournaments & travel etc-etc. we look forward to seeing you newcomers sooner or later.

No they do not represent us, no they are not apart of us, that’s the point I am trying to make.
Just because people ATTEND gaming centers, that does NOT make them COMPETITORS.
Too some companies and businesses, for instance the Augusta location, they consider us all ATHLETES, the individuals you see at most lan spots or at the Gamer Experience store are the usual run of the mill “CASUAL GAMER” you cannot expect them to come to local tournaments, travel or train for that matter, that’s why they are held to a totally different accord.
Smithspot the OWNER of the store has not been on this site since he tried to boost us and bring in more money for his store, if there were any TRUE gamers there this would be a non-discussion, the owner would be posting to either gain your interests or defend his business and we would all move on, as he stands as the leader of that spot, that location, he represents them, so where is he… so where are they… exactly!!!
Shoryuken is where he found us, it’s all we talked about it’s our home/safe haven/ domain/get away spot etc. SRK isn’t hard to find.
And just because someone says I play a game, they do not REPRESENT US and are not suddenly apart of the scene so please get that out of your heads and that go’s to anyone who thinks along that line.
That’s like me choosing Lobelia over Dr.Eek. I chose that example because neither of those guys (one girl) think they are super solid, they consider themselves beginners or learning the game and the scene, Lobelia to alot of us isn’t considered apart of the team/scene, why you ask??/
Lobelia rarely attends a gathering (for personal reasons) Dr.Eek does, lobelia doesn’t really train (for personal reasons) Dr.Eek does, Lobelia is on a different game almost 7 times a month (from what Lobelia posts here) while Dr.eek sticks too what he knows and is attempting to rise his play level on that thing or those things that he feels requires the most attention.
Dr.eek compared to Lobelia would be considered apart of the scene due to these points posted up above and various other reasons people may feel.
Although Lobelia has been to multiple tournaments including final round (so im not knocking lobelia) Dr.eek would be considered more driven, more highly interested when it comes tot eh scene, being apart of it and it’s rise
