If you know someone is going to jump just jump before them and use Guile’s air throw. I wouldn’t say use this all the time but if someone is jumping as much as he was then do it. His air throw has pretty good priority. Guile isn’t as defenseless against jump ins as you think (or as you’ve shown rather). If you are going to do it at Atlanta Revival you’ve two weeks of practice. I would suggest going into training mode, turning on REC and then just have Ryu do jumping forwards over and over and then put it to play and practice against it. You can find out different options against it. I’m not saying this as a joke but that’s really how people become good by find out what can work against what.

I can time c.FP well enough. I don’t think it’s a good idea in general to jump at Guile. I’ll say my Guile was limited because I allowed to happen. So it’s clear I need to work in my zoning game.

Actually, that’s what I did during the tourney. After I lost to Eddie, the PS3 was free, and then I trained a jumping Ryu to jump at my Guile. Which is why I did better against MetalMike later during that tournament. I know MM doesn’t seriously use Ryu. But he’s decent enough with him since he beat me on pad earlier at the tournament. I actually don’t have the game, so I have to figure out as I got along. Notice that I did better the third game against Eddie, but wasn’t enough to win.

yeah, his Ryu did beat me in casual twice. Of course during tourney time it was 3-0 Guile all day. Which goes to show you, I’m very weak at reading people who don’t really play with a strategy. No disrespect to him, but you know it’s true.

I did not set the one at Impact Clash 4 up. Someone in the Brawl community set the entire thing up. From what I understand you need a TV tuner/capture device, a way to split the video signal twice (I used a signal distributor with an amplifer), and a ustream account.
