For some reason I feel I must comment on the “pay for sex” topic. Though it may have already been stated (since I’m a bit in a lazy mood now…sitting on my ass at a computer I still manage to be more lazy), I’ll point out that some people would make the argument that anyone in a relationship does this everyday of their lives.
When you’re married it’s a given. You need to make some sense. Paying a stripper or hoe for sex is NOT the same. I am married with child. Cut it out.
Iceman put whatever evidence you want. Are you going to turn me into the police. Have any names or money exchanging hand? Why would/should I care about your evidence unless you’re going to use it against me in a court of law? Oh I see, you’re hoping to “embarass me out of gaming” like you’ve tried to do SO many times over the years. When it’s just waste effort.
The bottomline ICeman, people like you have no power over me or what I say. You spend more time worrying about what other people do, that it’s has to be a huge waste of energy. I’m seriously not worried about what Iceman is doing in his personal life. The only thing that concerns me about you is that you have unhealthy obessions with things that are way out of your control. On the subject of STDs. Honestly having unprotected sex with your girlfiend is more of a risk than having protected sex with a stranger. While I understand a lot of people are sheltered from reality, having friends and associates who are equally young and sheltered, the reality is tons of crap goes on. I have only two friends who I know who DON’T cheat on their girlfriend or spouses. tHat’s 2 people. I’ve known tons of married couples over the years. Women cheat on men, men cheat on women, it happens all the time. Lay down with your assumed loyal wife and you’re just having sex with who she’s been screwing. There is a large number of cheaters out here, especially in Atlanta. Atlanta is a city that is hard pressed for loyalty because sexual and companionship options are vast. Unless you’re head over heals in love with someone, there is no real reason to just stick with someone for a very long time. No matter who you’re having sex with, you’re running a risk. You can say you’re sleeping with a trusted partner, but it’s only someone you’ve convinced yourself you trust. There is a risk anytime you pull your dick out, and anyone who doesn’t believe that is stupid or naive. Not to say everyone cheat, but I can say at least 50% of all couples are doing something extra. ATL is really a sex driven city, get out in the dating scene, and it’ll become really obvious.
And also if people think getting laid in ATL is hard, then they also are out of touch. The 7:2 ratio is very real. Women just want a man halfway sane. People thinking you have to be the coolest person on the planet, or have a lot of money to get a woman in bed in ATL have the game way messed up. But enough on that topic.
On the topic of MVC2 high level being more hyped than MVC3 high level. This is a matter of opinion. Both games have highs and lows. MVC2 matches have a lot of downtime, can be really really boring, and it can be very repetitive. I use to love to watch MVC2 matches, but now I only like to watch certain players. A lot of the hype of Marvel is the drama or rivalries. Like seeing a perfect against some random in MVC2 isn’t a big deal. But if it’s Yipes perfecting Justin, then that’s when the hype starts.
With that said, I have a lot of fun spectating MVC3 matches as well. I though Eddie’s match with Byron was really exciting to watch, and I’m sure many who were there to watch it would agree. Both MVC3 and MVC2 are awesome spectator games at high levels.
