I beat him in Street Fighter IV. Of course he complained about the sticks. And I’m more than willing to hear him out on stick issues. But it WAS a Hori Fighting Stick 2, which is by no means a bad stick, especially for Street Fighter games.
Edit: Although I believe exceptional players can play on anything. Pad, stick, American sticks, MAS, doesn’t matter. I know I can play on cabinet, P360s, pad, Jap sticks, and American sticks. Though I may prefer cabinets over anything else, I never blame my losses on sticks. Especially if I came into the game with a weak strategy.

Yeah Iceman, that’s why everyone who played after you did just fine on the stick. The only people who did bad on the stick were people not use to sticks in general. Again, you brag about beating me in Marvel at Underground in 1 casual match. Something you’ve been bragging about up until last week. And this happened way back in January.
And again, I wasn’t going to say anything about beating you. But since you want to be childish then I’ll say something. And I didn’t beat you because of the stick. I beat you because you kept jumping in on me. You can say “Oh I was attempting a head butt”, but most of the time you were out of range for that.
I’ve played on shitty sticks before, but never have I’ve been beat by someone who is way way worse than me. If the stick is fucking up. I just adapt my strategy. You claim I really really fucking suck.
And if I don’t talk shit in person it’s because you didn’t say shit to me. anyone knows I’m quick t say something back if something is said to me. But then again, the way you guys are, you’ll talk shit when there is one of me and 6 of you. But that’s irrelevant. You should never lose to me in SFIV. I don’t own a copy of the game, I rarely even play. The last time I had played the game was at Metal Mike’s house which had been 3 weeks prior. Before that it had been like 3 weeks before that.
I’ve played SFIV no more than 5 times total. Seriously. I can only give it that you you weren’t using your main, and instead was using Balrog. Perhaps if you had used Blanka you would have given me more of a run for my money. Still you lost, accept it for what it is.

BEFORE we even had our match 3 straight people LOST IN THE TOURNAMENT when USING JASON’s STICK which included me and Metalmike.

I’m not flamboyant, I’m really quite reserved. If I do talk shit it’s in the middle of the match. Any other shit talking is kind of irrelevant, because there would be no point to it. I rather comment on what is happening besides what I’m going to do.
When have I bragged about the money I made? Never. This was started by people at Underground because I had an apartment downtown, and tons of expensive electronic equipment. Along with various laptops. Since I work in the IT field, I would have somewhat expensive communication equiptment since it’s always been apart of my job to stay connected to my job’s corporate network. I almost always have my laptop on me, and my phone, because I never knew at that time when I needed to log into my job’s network. I have never stated I made a shitload of money not to anyone. This is a matter of perception and bad rumors that permeated from people at the Underground who were nosey and couldn’t mind their own business.
As far as SFIV is concerned, I don’t have the game. And really I wasn’t willing to say anything about me beating you. If I did, I would have said something days ago. It’s only when you decide to take things to another level I’ll say something. At the end of the day it’s irrelevant.
And the only way I beat you was from Jump ins. That’s where like 80% of my damage came from. It wasn’t from tight ass combos or superior execution. Just simply by reacting to your mistakes. Again, being an arcade player I’ve played on my share of crappy sticks. But if I’m trying to do a move that won’t come out and it’s causing me to get damaged. I simply just have to rethink my strategy. Which is why I’ll never lose to someone worse than me, regardless of the quality of the stick. And if I walk back to the corner, you should have owned me up hard. But of course you didn’t. I never lose my cool during a match, and I’m willing to sit back all day and not press any buttons and wait for a mistake.
And if it is a stick issue, you could have beat me totally on footsies. Which takes no execution, just timing and reaction.

I don’t really care about trash talk or shit talk, hype talk, talk radio or any other kind of talk that could go down. I’m fine with anything. Personally, I stopped reading a few pages (I think) back when I saw Branh say something about SFIV is all about footsies. I couldn’t take anything else seriously from that point on.

What footsies dumb ass I played balrog… Jab x3 will push him out, you get 2 sonic booms (one ex)and a crouching MK which means I now have to press the issue AGAIN and walk towards you, watch the match I posted against you and metalmike, one of the best options I had was to use armor, ex overhead punch since Guile’s ex flash kick is garbage, the reason head butt came out 3 times was because you were full screen and I don’t trust my timing with the turn around punch so i used the headbutt to get closer WITHOUT walking or jumping which would help me NOT get caught but stupied things, since you were not MOVING and only crouching 65% of the time of course I wasn’t throwing out headbutts as counters
