I never like to discuss about Marvel being gay, because I think the game has some pretty gay stuff about it too, but I can’t help but say that this is the truth. This is the same concept as poker (the line between straight gambling and playing). The random factor is definitely in there, but it’s apparent that the factor of randomness isn’t the only thing allowing top players to consistently place high, with only a few exceptions (like everything else).
But hey, Magneto is too random, Storm is too flexible, Sentinel is too solid, Cable is too cheap, and so on and so forth, but I still have the most fun playing competitive Marvel than I do for any other game. That game was rightfully given the term “crack,” regardless of how gay it is sometimes . It’s just too addicting, to be honest. Too much fun to watch and too much fun to play, which is really the point, anyway, right?
I’m catching a flight out at 8:00 tonight to spend the summer at Dallas, TX. Hope there’s competition over there, particularly in MvC2; I don’t want to get rusty after all the improvement I had this year.
Let me know next time you plan on going to East Point. I definitely want to play your Chun-Li. I didn’t have time to play it the other day when I went there because I was about to leave. I need to stop playing with Guile, he’s obviously low tier.
Good luck out there! You will definitely enjoy the arcades there. I wish I could’ve played you in Bloody Roar like I promised you. If they ever make another bloody roar online I’ll owe you a match.

Match from arcade infinity, that guile player is nassssty.
Tech, I have a friend who plays guilty gear (also named ben) who is going back to Dallas after he graduates from tech this weekend. You guys should get some games in. He’s pretty much always looking to improve it seems.
Would you mind keeping me updated on your friend and where/when he is available? Also if he plays at the arcades, ask him to be patient, because I’m ultra rusty when it comes to sticks.
I as well. I really wanted to get you, ShadowAce50 and Deadly Rave neo in BR3, I had learned even more stuff with my Uranus and finalized the jump cancel stuff with my Uriko so I would have been top of my game. Also I wanted to get a lot of footage of ShadowAce50 in particular since I ran out of disc space at Final Round XII and could only get two of his sets.
I don’t think there are any arcades in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. When I was going to take a contract job there and I looked up some info, I didn’t see any Dallas arcades. I think Dallas is like Atlanta with gatherings and such.
And I think Dark geese lives in Dallas, because when I spoke to him when he was supposed to be coming here for impact Clash he said he couldn’t make it because he couldn’t get to Atlanta from his layover in Houston. Which means houston wasn’t his starting destination.
