Omni great job winning the tournament this week! I’ve been so, so, busy it’s just ridiculous. I have been stopping through East Point every so often to see what’s up. I ran a first to ten with Me-ATL Red (Mike) not for money or anything but just for fun in a Guile vs. Guile match. He beat me 5-10 but it showed me where I was at as far as my gameplay goes.
It feels like Impact Clash 3 was only a few weeks ago. Time has really flown by. I’m going to work my hardest to get this thing started on time and running as smoothly as possible. Hopefully I can have enough time to step into casuals and possibly into the tournament as well if I can get my staff in line and have things popping. And I will try my best to see what I can work out to bring future tournaments back to the bus line and back closer to the city like you all have asked.
I keep watching the Daigo vs Jwong match and I have made up my mind, Justing got DESTROYED. There are no ifs or buts about it. He just got outplayed and outclassed. Im not taking anything away from Jwong, beating Iyo was a great accomplishment, and he got my full respect for that. What I dont understand is how in the world did Iyo beat Kindevu (the best rufus(along with Jwong now) in the world) in the Japanese National?? I guess this means that Justin is on par with the Japanese… Good shit to Jwong for reals, and Mike Ross for getting 2nd.

That’s a bad match up for rufus. Do you really think justin would have stayed with rufus against ryu if he coul dchange characters? Either way I do believe that daigo is the best sf player every! It took daigo to beat justin. It wasn’t some random japanese player that beat him. Daigo is RYU. Plain and simple. But he did beat the japanese and korean champ so that has to count for something right? The problem is our community(usa as a whole) is so spread out. Japan is the size of cali, but with the same amount of players.
If we all lived in cali we would be on japans level imo.
