We have a temporary schedule scenario that we are going to post for most of the tournaments and we will be announcing more tourneys this week as well:
i.e. Melty Blood: Actress Again, Arcana Heart 2, etc etc.
We also were given a solid idea by one of our staffers that addresses one of my points of interest in tournament officiation.
A lot of you know I am merciless when it comes to DQ’ing people to losers brackets or out of a tournament if they dissappear on us when called. So one of the points that was brought up that was people walk away for food because they are hungry…valid point.
We have a maid cafe being setup at the show. This means we have desginated times to eat at the event. however the idea was pitched to have extra gals working the event as “Maid Waitresses” which can take orders from the players in the console room for small and simple foods. They would then deliver you your snack, burger, pizza, etc. while you are in the tourney waiting on your pools.
While I love this idea, the caveat that comes to mind is that this is hotel food, not fast food, so we are talking a few more bucks then you would spend were it mcdonalds or wendy’s. etc…
I have a solid menu listing through the hotel for 3-4 buck burgers, 2-3 pizzas, 2 buck hotdogs and 1 buck soft drinks.
I was curious to see if you guys like this idea. I originally thought it would cost up prep costs from the hotel which we get back once they sell a certain amount, but that is not the case, they wouldnt charge me anything for it. but because we have a mall with a large food courty nearby I wanted to see the general interest in this.

Hey moadib it was pleasure meeting you at the tourney on sat, im the Tampa player or Cuban cracker who plays gief, but I think you do have a good idea with the waitress service at a decent price, alot of players like myself get to these tourneys with a little bit to eat beforehand and have to stay in the same spot all day and never get a chance to leave for a bite to eat most of the time waiting till its over at 9 - 11pm with an empty stomach. 1$ can drinks even 3$ energy drinks would be would be acceptable but we got screwed paying 2 bucks for a single can of soda at the last event + pricey hotel drink prices, anyway im getting hyped for this event your holding in the near future can’t wait to see it turn out.

Panel event and interactive games where you can meet the voices of the Street Fighter IV cast, Composers from Tekken 6, Creators and producers in the Gaming industry (we will announce some of these guys in Janauary!!! Oh the anticipation!)
Bonus pot tournaments in a variety of genres - the goals of GAMME in tourney sessions is to be all inclusive with 3 Genres - Fighters / Shooters / Rhythm. So the weekends tournament schedule will begin early on Friday morning 10am. The Event completely opens by 6pm Friday, which allows for the bulk of pools to be run on Friday and get a large amount of tournaments handled. Open registration occurs Thursday for Pre-Reg and any walk ups.
Gives you guys lots of time to get everything squared away before the event starts.
Plans for a Pro-Player Lounge is in the works which will be in control of none other than Big E from NEC. it won’t be a huge setup and it will be a small period of time throughout the weekend and is only accessible to the players that have an “S” rank on their badges. total time for this space will be roughly 4 hours in the evening.
We are adding more tourneys to satisfy all aspects of “Randoms” “Casual players” “Semi-Pro” and “Professional” players.
This will allow for the most amount of people to compete and allow for up and coming players to shine in the midst of the best players in the world.
Concerts - I am finalizing our new guest this New Years - hint hint, she is performing in Miami… ^_~ but she is not signed so until then…

We will be touring many of the next set of Fighter / Shooter / Rhythm tourneys in 2010 to promote for the show, we hope to see you and many new faces.

Many of the items we have planned and continue to conceptualize for the event comes from you guys. so please always feel free to communicate with us. if it is something we are able to put together and beta test before GAMME to make sure it can be done properly - and it is something everyone can enjoy - we will do it or we will plan it for another event so we can plan it properly. Nay. I’ve only ever done alcohol. Granted, I do about $100 worth a week… so I guess I’m just making up for the fact that I’ve never done anything else… heh. Never smoked herb as I’m asthmatic, but I’ll be damned if I don’t loooove the smell of the stuff.
As for the $ matches? I can’t wait to see the action unfold. People tend to bring their A-game when I have skrilla on the line.

You can either purchase a VIP access badge which grants the concerts and VIP events or you can get the concert a la carte, as an extra item other then your badge.
All the prices are accurate, that remains the same, although the schedules for the concerts are being corrected since we secured our GMF Concert and Fairgrounds space for Friday as well. We won’t be running concerts in Main events at all…
Musical performances will be done in 3 locations at the event
JamSpace (all badges) - Downstairs in the Symposium Ballroom
JRock Lounge (all badges) - upstairs in the Legacy Ballrooms
GMF Sound Stage (VGL & Basshunter Concerts are all separate ticket items) - Concert Fairgrounds, outside of the hotel

Is SF4 and (if necessary) SSF4 going to be on PS3 or XBox 360, or both?
Also, should I bring both TE sticks?
PS3. and yes bring your own sticks. While we always provide equipment and sticks for folks, they are extremely limited (around 16) and we always recommend you bring your own stick, as you have to concern yourself with the potential for dropped inputs or a stick that can need buttons replaced…hundreds of uses at an event like this is murder on our sticks. and we loan out our equipment each weekend.
So definitely bring your sticks.
