Maybe the WiiU will smack Nintendo like the Dreamcast did Sega and will convert them into Software development. At least it will them to focus on software and portable devices. That’s what they do best. Nintendo IP’s are pretty much worth Gold as they do tend to please consistently.
Does Nintendo even need 3rd party support anymore? Considering the people who played the Wii were likely not interested in lots of stuff 3rd party developers produce, I doubt Nintendo will care about 3rd party support. They’d be better off buying up developers and creating games in-house.
