Hey what do the regular cases compare more to in size? Te? Brawlstick. In between? Looking to buy two. One hitbox one astro city
They’re roughly the size of an agetec dreamcast arcade stick.
I think the big purple case was 23" long x 10" wide x 2 1/4" tall.
Yeah that big purple one definitely turned quite a few people in this direction.

Ya. I had nitewalker make it just big enough to fit in a 2 foot by 1 foot prepaid shipping box. Wrapped in bubble wrap of course mine was special order. Wide body’s are smaller. I have one too. A couple pages back I compared it beside a vlx. The widebody is a little smaller

still bigger than a TE… Holy shit I can’t wait to get some of these cases! Now I just need my crap to sell.
Yeah but you can ask him to cut down the size of the case to custom measurements like I did. Since I was so accustomed to the TE size since it was my first official stick, I asked that my case be a bit smaller then his normal wide body which was closer to the size of at TE. Just explain what you want and he’ll work with you.

Case just showed up at work. woot.com screaming monkey says it looks even better in person than this phone camera shot. Looking forward to putting it together.

Some feedback after I spent some time with it today. This thing feels very solid. The polycarbonate on top of the wood panel feels better to me than my TE. The countersunk holes on top are great for the flush look. Including the square bit with the screws is a very nice touch. The panel’s 30mm holes and front 24mm holes fit Sanwa screw-ins as advertised. I requested the stick and buttons to have a bit more separation and the art I had created separately was an almost perfect fit.
I had a bit of a problem seating the Neutrik plate into the cutout as it was just a bit too small, but it was fixed with a bit of sandpaper. I couldn’t get the nut on the Neutrik mounting screws but it feels tight enough without it.
Anyone thinking about a blank wood case needs to talk to NiteWalker because he is cranking out good stuff. I’ll be putting in an order for a second case in a few months. Keep up the good work!
Anyone know the exact measurements for the TE off the top of your head?
I got mine in this morning and started putting it together as soon as I had the chance. I agree with the issue of the Neutrik hole being the most, ever so slightly small. Three of the four corners sat in perfectly while I had to do a tiny bit of sanding to get the forth in. Once in, it was snug but Internalburn, I’d suggest putting those nuts on the Neutrik screws as I thought about doing that as well but found out that it wasn’t stable enough to stay in place with out them. I got mine on after some contorting.
As for the case itself, it’s perfect. Shipping was quick, the case came extremely well packaged, and as he’s posted before, your case will come with all of the prep items already ready and labelled for you. All buttons fit in with ease (used screw in 30mm and 24mm seimitsu) and my Sanwa JLF (taken from a TE with the mounting plate and using the JLF Link) sat perfectly.
If you ordered artwork, it comes very well printed out and to the sized to the specifications of your case. My artwork didn’t come pre-cut as I thought it would, but that’s my fault for assuming it would have.
Pictures will follow once I get the artwork cut and put all the wiring in but Nite’s end result is superb and he lives up to his reputation.

NiteWalker: is the Neutrik issue something you think you could resolve? I’m planning on ordering finished stick cases because I suck at painting/staining so I definitely wouldn’t want to sand anything!

Hmm, I received the paypal shipping notification 3 days ago and it arrived yesterday. I missed it because I wasn’t home so I had to pick it up this morning. It could also be that he lives in Albany and I live in NYC.
