Thank you for your hard work NiteWalker. I appreciate the time and effort you put in for my custom order.

<- Drooling… I want that Widebody Tiger Maple case!!!

Sent you a pm, would like an update on my case/box when you can. I can see your a busy man!

Wow is all I can say to Nitewalkers last post.

Is the my purple heart? 3rd up from bottom

Satisfied customer here!!!

Thanks again John your work is absolutely amazing! Love this thing to death man!

My only gripe is that awesome recessed neutrik port was really hard to screw the nut onto

That came out real nice Zeth.

I think mine is the one all the way in the bottom, the only other tiger maple wide body i see :).

That’s a really small hitbox lol

Did you shave the tabs on the snap-ins? I vaguely remember reading about people cracking custom plexis with snap-in buttons if the tabs were not shaved.

I see what you did there? Small hitbox? lol

Hah, you should see the inside, I barely had enough room for everything.
I had a TE and a custom stick that were pretty big and I wanted something smaller like the SE but that was more comfortable for lap play. And would give me the freedom to move it around to wherever was most comfortable.

Don’t be fooled by it’s size though it has a pretty hefty weight to it and and it’s more solidly built than my MDF case that is twice it’s size lol

Yea it is very easy to crack the plexi if you don’t shave the tabs off of them because you are forcing it into a smaller hole since the drill holes are 24mm exactly which doesn’t take into account the extra 1mm or so that each tab adds to the width.

I used a combination of peeling thin layers away with an exacto knife and filing it down with a nail filer.

But let Nite know if you plan on doing snap in buttons. He countersinks screw holes for the top panel since you won’t be using screw-ins to hold the panel down.

PM’d you with an order request.

I’ll shoot you some more details once I hear back from you.

Hey Nite, sent you a PM.

Is there any guide for this, im doing snap in buttons as well, is it really required?

Thanks for all the kind words guys.
It’s why I keep on building.

You don’t have to worry about cracked plexi with using snap ins; I use polycarbonate (tuffak lately) for the top panels. It doesn’t crack like acrylic can.

Answering the rest of my PM’s now. :china:

That’s fantastic. When I was putting it together I was thinking this looks to thick to crack.

Just wish I would have known that before I spend an hour shaving off tabs
