Might be in the market for a walnut in a few weeks. I’d get poplar, but I have no experience/space/tools to figure out how to paint it. :shy:
Yep. 
The key things that allow me to get done so quick is the jigs I use for production of the cases and the finish I use. It’s an extremely durable waterborne clear coat. It only takes 30 minutes to dry for re-coating and cures in 24 hours. Great stuff.

But yeah, whenever you’re ready, 3-4 days to build and 2-3 days shipping and it should reach you in about a week total.

Here’s a slim model walnut case.
I painted the control panel blue and already installed the neutrik rj45. This one’s gonna be my 2p stick, since I have to fight the wife and kids over the guts stick. :razzy:
I’m really liking this slim design and might make it the standard. The only drawback is that I can only use a single plexi panel for the bottom. For the taller cases I can use two sheets for sandwiching artwork.
I’m also really liking the threaded inserts too. So easy to unscrew the bottom now. No screwdriver needed

I just got my case and I am pretty damn happy about it. I do have one question though for you, on the bottom plexi glass. Do you have any suggestions to help it not bend so much. I put a piece of masking tape on the bottom all around so it flex so much.

I’ve ordered 2 boxes from Nitewalker, I gotta tell ya. They’re cheap, great quality boxes, and they come with hardware for the box! I usually have to go out and buy that stuff!

Yeah, I include all the necessary hardware to save the buyer some trouble.
Just let me know when you’re ready for a wide body case. I’ll make sure to give you discount for being a repeat buyer.
Also, I’m discontinuing poplar cases; it’s a great wood to work with, but just a bit too soft for my preference. Instead, from now on, buyers can choose which wood they’d like the case to be made of and whether or not it will have a finish. So instead of unfinished poplar, you can get unfinished walnut, maple cherry, etc. If you plan to paint a case, I highly recommend maple. It’s a very smooth wood and takes paint and primer beautifully, even better than poplar.
I’m working out the details on my website, but here’s the woods I have available:
These are all the same price, so you have more choices. For example you could get a tiger maple unfinished for the same price as a poplar unfinished, or a purpleheart finished case for the same price as a cherry finished case.

Also, someone asked me this earlier; when ordering, if you’d like to use two different species of wood for different parts (eg; tiger maple front and back with purpleheart sides) I can do it at no extra charge.
