If you’re looking for cheaper cases, I’d suggest grabbing one of the QCF MDF cases available for sale in the trading outlet. Nitewalker uses less cheap material to construct his cases- something that is very evident in the overall quality of the finished product. You get what you pay for, man. Even so, these cases are still definitely on the cheap side for the craftsmanship and labor put into them.

Yep, Satek makes great MDF budget cases. He has a lot of satisfied customers and his design is great. I highly recommend him for budget cases if mine are priced above someone’s budget.
my case finished. it’s a poplar with viewlix layout by nitewalker. really loving the build. pretty heavy it doesn’t move at all. just botch the finish a little bit as i am pretty noob with painting wood and using an old printer to print the artwork. overall i am very happy with how it turned out. i will definitely order the TE sized case next when i have the money for it. oh, did i mentioned i am an international customer. i’d recommend nitewalker to anyone, anywhere, anytime

i paid 115 for the widebody case. my vlx has a plexi i made for it, some Marko Djurdjevic art, Seimitsu KNs buttons and it’s wired up for a project box, that’s why the regular control panel is missing.

What do you mean bezel? The outside shape with all the angles? I could, but it would probably be pretty costly because of the angles involved and the need for extra wood in those areas.
The width of the vlx? Probably not much more; depends on where you are though. If you’re in brazil I’d have to recalculate for shipping. It shouldn’t be too much more though. PM me with what you’re looking for in a case and we can go from there.
