This stick looks really great in person, we could not get pictures to accurately represent its true rich purple color. This wood has a rich natural lustre and appears more burgundy than purple in these photos.
The stick looks great. The only things that I don’t like is that it is too slim for quick disconnects (I hate soldering), the JLF looks a little too high from the pictures, Ryu has a yellow headband in ST, and Ken does not have a ponytail in ST. The stick would be the ultimate ST stick if you just photoshopped out Ken’s ponytail and Ryu’s headband to yellow. Otherwise, great job.
Yeah, it scares me too. I dont think it could affect performance but you could easily break a tab off pulling really hard on a QD or bending it too much.
That is why I always solder. It is cleaner and less stressfull for the button.
I was just wondering, would the lack of a select button cause any difficulties for any games that anyone can think of? Be a shame to have to look around for another controller to hit select for some reason.
Also, I wonder, with the soldering and screw-in buttons, if it would be difficult to replace the buttons with clear ones (to suit artwork)?
Thanks for the nice words Will976 and Legendary Gokou.
Mr. Big, we can’t think of any game it would affect of hand. If you are looking to use this stick in tournaments I think this might not be the right item for you. Our sticks are usually purchased by individuals for their personal use and to be displayed in their homes. If you plan to change out your parts frequently and continually tune up your stick it sounds like you might be better off hitting up one of the custom stick builders.
FYI: We are willing to change out the art for any buyer at no additional costs but art must be provided at time of purchase. The button layout is the blast city layout for the six action buttons.
Wow! $150 for a premade is a great price. Add to that it is a TMO stick, and that’s a complete steal.
I play with a stick that has no select and I haven’t had any trouble. Any options or button configs can be done in the menu which is what selects usually does in game.
