Jasen, would you happen to have the templates for the Panzer? The links on the product page are down and I’m trying to get the ones for the Noir layout and bottom panel.
Not bad! I might just contact Foehammer and have shep whip me up some smaller feet. This is definitely going to be my next travel stick! Now to sell my other stick…
Also how is the spacer solution coming along with the JLF mount, Jasen? However if LS-56s/40’s work with the MS mounting plate I might just use that.
i would say as long as the textures match (med gloss \ med gloss, or low gloss\ low gloss) you cant go wrong…
the basic washers jasen gives you for mounting, its pretty damn close to the stock jlf height, if you want more or less just get different bolts\washers.
The Spacer is coming along. We are just working through exact size (thickness) and costs associated with it.
As for finish and combination: You can’t go wrong. I have a posted every stick built in the past week or so on the Jasen’s Customs Facebook page. This may help give you inspiration: www.facebook.com/jasenscustoms
I prefer a glossy top and a sandtex bottom. That’s just me though
Hey everyone! As I consider expanding the PFS line to include a wide body edition (prototype coming soon) I posted a poll up on Jasen’s Customs FaceBook page. If you wouldn’t mind helping me with some market research and answer a few questions, I sure would appreciate it!
jasen, i feel the market lacks a decently priced all in 1 solution. if theres a way you can cheaply make a universal panzer (or just sell the different tops) it would be nice to have 1 stick that had the option of housing, happs, sanwas, seimitsus, and k levers.
also a 2 person wide body would be cool for those looking to make basic cabinet set up or just to play 2 player on a table.
Seth, great ideas. I have been considering a PFS Mammoth that could sit on top of a cab for an arcade feel. In the mean time let’s think about this:
The Panzer Fight Stick Wide Body Edition is being built as we speak. It’s going to be huge and amazing. I have some tricks up my sleeve for this one
A new batch of PFS showed up today. Naturally, like a beautiful woman, they needed to be photographed… I obliged. Pictures posted up on the Facebook page. Can you find the one that isn’t like the others?
Bro, I cannot wait to get mine in hand. I already got some button silencers, gonna get some craft foam and some new microswitches down the line for the stick. It’s coming out so perfectly!
Awesome! I’m excited to get it built and shipped! I will be printing the artwork tomorrow after I get some school work done (Yes, 32 years old and the Navy is making me take classes on shore duty!) and applying Sunday/Monday. More pictures will be posted up.
Ill put some button silencers in for you and a craft foam liner at the bottom… since you won the contest of course.
Thanks! I try hard to treat everyone like I want to be treated… going above and beyond is not difficult and generally appreciated. Id rather make everyone happy than make a few extra bucks and the FGC has been great with me, especially when minor setbacks occur like last week.
Just found some of these hex nut (or whatever you call them, security screws or something) at work. and i feel like they give this case a nice little boost in costmetics a nice full looking screw…only thing is the inside of the head of the screw was textured so it rubbed the paint off. not a big deal if you are always going to use them. not to mention now my case is h4x0r pr00f as im sure jasen would appreciate it.
I can already see me locking myself out of my case though, haha.
Also the ol ball and chain yelled at me to get silencers since the case echos the clack of normal sanwas quite a bit (although i already have some custom cut ~2inch foam in there. oh well, guess this is my chance to get another spark ce and silencers and she cant get mad at me this time!!!
Nice screws. I have been looking at sources for nice chrome button tops to offer up as an add-on to make it shine a little more. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a good supplier yet. I like those though. Very nice!
