Does the stick look over engineered? Well, that’s because it is. It was designed to look and feel good while being strong and and virtually indestructible. Hit it with hammer… you might dent it a little bit. Hit the competitor’s stick with hammer and watch it shatter. You feel the quality when you pick this stick up and know it’s going to last.

Price is $89.95 each and is manufactured upon order due to the level of customization, cases ship in about 5 business days. Shipping Cost is FLAT RATE $17 to USA and I ship world wide (Except Italy and Spain).

I have sold over 30 of these so far and the response has been very good. They are very versatile with the setup allowing a plethora of compatibility including NEO-GEO due to the design.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

This looks awesome. I’ll be placing an order shortly. I checked out your site, is there an option to not have the db15 slot, or are they all cut that way by default?

A few questions…

  1. Is it possible to have holes drilled for a plexi and have a plexi cut?
  2. Compatible with snap-ins?
  3. When will the vinyl wrap option be available?
  4. Does “sandtex” mean that it has a gritty finish?

In the order notes you can say to remove one or the other. Ill remove the DB15 and center the USB/RJ45 cutout.

I don’t deal with plexi, my partner-shop is all metal. It is possible to add 4 threaded holes at an extra cost in the four corners to support plexi. I’d have to find out how much though. I can provide a template for the plexi if you wanted to have someone cut it. I chose not to use plexi on these because I’m not a huge fan of it… but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

Only snap-ins work. The layout and spacing makes the “nut” based a buttons a bit tough to use. The snap-ins fit nice and tight though.

Vinyl Wrap will be available in a couple of days (probably Monday since I have the day off). I have to cut one out to verify my template and make sure it fits properly before I sell them. Printing and cutting is simple (since I have the right machine) once this is square. I am using the engineering drawings that are used to press and waterjet the metal so it should be spot on.

Awesome.

  1. Does “sandtex” mean that it has a gritty finish? Or is it a brand of paint?

I was about to check out and got a shipping quote to Arizona of $56. Is that correct?

Sandtex is a type of finish. It’s not smooth, I liken it to a the metal computer case feel.

Koz, what option did you choose? These ship in a 24x12x12 box that weighs 11 lbs. If it didnt allow you to select Parcel Post, let me know. Ill take a look at my shopping cart configuration. Those prices are direct from USPS, I dont add any extra to it.

Koz, I double checked everything and it’s calculating things correctly. USPS did just raise prices so that may be affecting it. I checked from my house here in VA to my folks in FL and it’s $27 Parcel Post.

Any chance of getting the length at 18 inch instead of 14?

Yes, but it would be considerably more expensive. The price on these is as low as they are because I have pre-bought 100 of them. I can design something fully custom if you want and get you a price. If that’s something you would be interested in, please shoot me a PM. I’m always willing to do one-two offs.

Thats exactly what I wanted to know. If it would be considerably more for a custom shape. Thank you for all of the prompt responses. I am definitely considering picking one up very soon. One more thing, would the “sandtex” finish cause the buttons to not sit flat on the top of the case?

No, the sandtex isn’t that pronounced. They sit nicely. Although, the gloss on top and sandtex on bottom looks really sick. If you are thinking of doing a wrap on it (now or in the future) sandtex would not be the way to go, it would make the vinyl look awful.

Jasen, for a bare case, would it be possible to ship using a priority flat rate box?

Koz, it might fit but not very safely. Id be worried that I couldnt get enough padding around it. Not that Im worried about a Metal Case being damaged, but it’s not my normal way of packing. Ill get one at the Post Office tomorrow and bring it home for a test fit.

I’m extremely interested but don’t want the db15 port…just neutrik…also is their a possibility to do a noir layout?

Good idea on the finish with the Sandtex on bottom! If I could get Noir layout I would be even more stoked on this. Probably the same deal as the longer case. Extra money cuz the cases are already made, huh?

I have committed to buying 100 cases, they aren’t all made. The contract I have with the manufacturing shop is that I will buy 100 in a set amount of time and they will give me the 100 piece bulk price. Because of the minor changes of removing the DB15 or removing the Neutrik spot they don’t charge extra and it can be done.

Moving the button layout and removing cutouts adds/subrtacts no money from the case. I purposely designed it to allow for more vice less to maximize minor changes at no cost later. If we add holes or have to make it bigger then it becomes custom and doesn’t fit within our contract. That being said, if you want the Noir layout vice the Viewlix layout, it’s only a minor change and we can make that happen.

I have updated the site to reflect Flat Rate Shipping using the USPS Large Flat Rate box. The dimensions work with the case and I can sufficiently pad it all the way around using small bubble wrap. This is only the US price for shipping. International flat rate is $78!

Can haz Noir. Nice!

Thanks for the flat rate option Jasen. Placed my order, looking forward to seeing your work.

Thanks! It’s going into production tomorrow!
